  1. Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

I'd imagine production means more to FCA than extra parts, so yeah.. i wonder if they try to account for builds vs parts, or is it 1st come first serve lol
  2. Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

Makes sense.... It would be nice to know. Maybe a build sheet? ā€ā™‚ļø
  3. Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

I took mine apart (15 minutes of work) to realize mine wasn't right.. i was hoping my rubicon had it like some have claimed... Nope.. ..
  4. Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

I'm sure, if you have the harness already installed, you'll have no problem selling it to me on here
  5. Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

It would be amazing if a huge stock of the original harnesses just showed up and were available immediately
  6. Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

At least the giant fob might be easier to hold and push with it's huge buttons. I have everything installed but harness .. backorder as well. And I never have luck finding Jeeps in junk yards
  7. Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

I didn't see any posts about it. How much different is it?
  8. Proximity door locks retrofit on Wrangler/Gladiator, someone figured it out (DIY writeup)

I can't speak for them but it seems everywhere is short on the harness and other parts from the manufacturer. I was banking on my rubicon having the right harness but mine was 5452ae and I didn't see a pigtail. I've tried locating a place with the right harness on hand but no cigar..

That is awesome. I just finished installing on my driver side... I'll be doing passenger side soon
  10. Rear window

Tons of good uses.. it would just be even more modular.. make it easier to remove the hard top. Oh well.. don't think there's a big enough market for the aftermarket to make one, but I always thought it'd be cool. Thought the same thing in my JK, if they made a removable rear window so you...
  11. Rear window

I know I'm way late to this post, but even a removable rear window would be cool.. one that locked in and could be removed got the open air experience without removing the hard top.. ā€ā™‚ļø maybe someone will fabricate something

The worst part about the whole thing in my situation is my wife is law enforcement.. we were at a hotel and she didn't like the parking spot, even with the cameras (that we didn't know weren't recording). My reaction was, we don't have anything in here, doors are unlocked... No biggie. They...

Considering the area I was in (not by choice), it was likely the local meth heads.. there were security cameras.. but I mean, they could have just been vandalising.. but if you're just vandalising, why go through all of my compartments and everything

Rubicon has the wiring already. I think Sahara does too

Thank you. We were all teens at one point and I'm sure many of us did questionable things, but they do a job far more dangerous than most people realize. I'm on edge more with her going to work than I am in combat. It's crazy and people are even crazier these days. I appreciate the thanks...

I'm not sensitive. And in general I'm not bothered by opinions. I am a part of the forum because in general, all the Jeep forums I'm a member of have great people with great insight and advice. I don't always agree but I'm open to different perspectives. I know that if it's something I'm...
