  1. Joined the oil leak club

I've never actually seen any oil on the ground under the Jeep, but today I noticed this when I was going to change the oil/fuel filter. Looks like I'm scheduling a visit to the dealer.
  2. JT Diesel Snorkel

Pretty solid solution. I've had my snorkel waiting to install to see how this played out. Do you think AEV was the one with the pull to get Jeep to offer the TSB? Pretty nice partnership if so.
  3. JT Diesel Snorkel

@BlueScapegoat - I wanted to double check before I order - is this the Sy-Klone 9001r filter you got w/ 4 inch inlet? Thanks!!!
  4. Coverking Topliner - Review & Install

I installed mine back around May 2022. Noticed around Thanksgiving 2022 that the back was sagging and a few other parts seem to be as well. I'll likely take it all off this spring and see if I can get another glue kit from CK or look for some high strength spray glue.
  5. JT Diesel Snorkel

Interesting thread. I haven't installed mine yet as I'm curious what AEV will do if that is the fix - spending another 2-300 on the cyclone filter kinda sucks. Plus, I guess I dont know if mine will throw the code like others have had happen so its a dice roll it seems.
  6. JT Diesel Snorkel

I got my snorkel yesterday afternoon after ordering on Tuesday, delivered Thursday to NC. Doubt I get it installed for a week or so. I’m also going to look at fabbing a bracket that allows me to mount the upper portion without having to drill into the outside window frame. We’ll see.
  7. JT Diesel Snorkel

These could also be an option. I doubt that I'd run one, but throwing it out there for visibility.
  8. JScan - Forced DPF regen

Any more info where you read about this? Couldn't find anything online. thanks!
  9. My homemade bed rack

I don't think i've ever posted this on here - but earlier this year my dad and I welded up a rack with some inspiration from Nate @ Dirt Lifestyle.
  10. JT Diesel Snorkel

was really hoping to see one pop up at SEMA :(
  11. Diesel Engine issue tracking thread... also please post if NO issues!

It does sound very familiar but it would seem really weird for air in Kansas to cause it. I mean, crazy things happen, but would seem hard to prove. For the fix, check this thread...
  12. Want to hang large water water bottle from passenger grab handle

Not sure if this would work for you or not - Off road Water Bottle Holder
  13. Radio volume fluctuating

Has anyone had their radio fluctuate volume on it's own? It'll happen usually when I have just stopped. Drive thru's - turn down music, and it just goes blast on it's own. Stop at a red light and music turns down on its own. Its the 8.4" radio.
  14. Just got back from a 4200 mile road trip out West with my EcoDiesel

Update: Dealer had the truck for 12ish days - mostly waiting for some parts. My AC was fixed due to a bad condenser (no biggie!). Now for the diesel exhaust issues, this is from the dealer notes. P24A4-00 Active Set Code. Cleared codes and tested again and code did not return. No EGT...
  15. Just got back from a 4200 mile road trip out West with my EcoDiesel

Truck is at the dealer now, so we'll see what outcome is. I'm hung up on that I drive around town with mixed highway 20-30 mins here and there, weekend trips of 3ish hours 1 way pretty often and have never had any issues w/ exhaust system. When this happened I had just finished zooming thru...
  16. Just got back from a 4200 mile road trip out West with my EcoDiesel

Some of you may have seen some of this post on my instagram already (@jeepgladiators) - so if you're reading this again, maybe this will offer some more detail. 2021 3.0 EcoDiesel JT w/ 3" lift and 40's with a previously 21,XXX miles trouble free on the dash. Day 1 - Drove from Charlotte, NC...
  17. Diesel Engine issue tracking thread... also please post if NO issues!

Following up here - Dealer did a forced regen and said it's good to go now. Not sure why it didn't do the regen naturally as it's been doing the past 21k miles. They also mentioned it was my fuel filter that caused the issue and that they were going to charge me $ for the regen for not having...
  18. Diesel Engine issue tracking thread... also please post if NO issues!

Currently down in Burlington, Colorado while on my way to Moab from NC. Dash spit out an error that the exhuast system required service and upon pulling into a hotel it said exhaust filter was at 90% full.
