As the title suggests. I am curious about those who live in areas where salt/sodium hydrochloride or some other sort of solution is used on roads.
How has your frame, body, components faired after a year or more of use?
Did you use any sort of treatment or is it stock?
I ack because parts...
Hey all, I am curious if anybody who does NOT have the 115v bed plug NOR a Berliner could do me a favor and post a picture of where the 115v would go if it was factory installed.....
I am trying to figure out if it's just a plastic cover, or what. I do not have it, and I do have a factory...
After looking at some options, I think I have concluded that no current ready to go system (Jackery, goal zero, or equip mobile battery box) will suit my needs. So I probably will be having to build my own - as much of a pain as that is. After reading several sources (and researching other...
Anyone running one of these on their Gladiator?

My Rubi has a lower than desired payload and although I would love to get the Alu-Cab I am exploring options just to see what else is out there. These were one of the first canopy camper...
My Rubicon has the front trail cam. Now that I have it I kinda like it and want to keep it's usability.
Does anyone here have a front trail cam with an aftermarket bumper and a couple lights? Would you be kind enough to post a couple pics of your bumper and what the trail cam sees?
Thus far...
I am hoping someone can clarify for me because I think I was misled. AGAIN
So during the order process I opted to include the upgraded 8.4" screen (nav system). I was told that the 'technology' group package was relating specifically to the 7" standard screen.
Well I was going back looking...
So as the title suggests
I decided to order my JT with the Selec-Trac. I live in the north. My days of hard core (3 or 2 wheeling) off road are over. However, I still have an actual 'need' for true 4wd. After researching the Selec-Trac more, and hearing some feedback here, and other sources...
So the Genesis is a neat option. But it seems to take up a bunch more space - of course due to two batteries.
For those who have it installed - do you see any issues it could cause if a person had to do engine work? Such as removing the passenger side valve cover, or any other type of work on...
So I was planning on doing a nice down payment and just going through the dealers many options of loan companies to see who offers better rates. However, since the Jeep is still in the order process and possibly 2-3 months out from arrival and delivery I am wondering about independent loans...
So. What's everyone doing for rust prevention??
Its no surprise these trucks are costly. Add to it the aftermarket goodies we all do and they're a pretty penny. For those of us in the north (Montana for me) what are folks doing?
In the past for my other vehicles I have done the following...
Seems the best place to mount CB/GMRS antenna is right on the front of the windshield since many companies, including Mopar, make mounts for them or lights or both. Of course the optimum location would be drilling a hole and mounting on the roof, but that would also require a alum or steel sub...
As the title suggests, where is a good place to tap into power for when the high beams are turned ON?
This would only be used to operate a single relay.
Asking because I know nothing of these new fancy CAN bus systems.... But have read elsewhere that they are very sensitive to voltage

Since the dealer only had a blue one available, and a while rubicon that was sold, I am hoping someone here could show a pic of Sage Green and Snazzberry (red)? Please and thank you :-)
Hey all! So much great info here - gotta love the days of forums! I have a '06' TJ G.E. which has been the best most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Also have a '97 OBS 7.3L that is very well built but due to an aging body starting to be too much for me to climb into and repair. So...
