I use this on my windshield, have had it on last 8 months and 2k miles(not driving much with COVID) and have survived a few highway rocks. It also works fine with ACC fwiw, and I've yet to peel 1 of the 3 layers off. I'll be putting a new one on once the time comes eventually, as at $200 it's a...
I run the Yokohama Geolandar XAT's which get marketed as a cross between MT and AT, and have been very happy with them so far. Quiet on the road, pretty good in the snow, and pretty good offroad. Will see how they wear and perform down the line.
I test drove a ZR2 Bison right before I test drove the JTR. The ZR2 was a low mileage one that was priced in the 30's, so would have saved me considerable coin, was quite well equipped, had a nice suspension and ride, but ultimately the JT put a smile on my face and felt unique to me so I picked...
Understood, however now I'm wondering if I should still only go up in equivalency to factory (i.e. 4.88's for 37's) if I plan to supercharger. I'm still on 35's right now but will be going to 37's once I lift hopefully later this year. I'm just enjoying the step by step money sink at this point...
Question for the gearing group. If one has plans to do a supercharger at a later date, is it wiser to wait and do that first and then re-gear, to re-gear first then blower, or it doesn't really matter? I'm also at elevation out in CO.
Understood, and thanks for clarifying. As far as SC, it's unfortunately going to have to wait until we're through another large purchase process. Plus I'd like to get some more miles on the truck first, with COVID I haven't been driving near as much the past year.
Are you saying that these things will just have a much reduced impact at elevation, or no impact? Just curious as I already have the mopar intake, was planning to do exhaust anyway, so really throwing in the Pulsar is a no brainer. I think similarly to you I'm waiting for some of the SC's to get...
Have people been receiving their orders? Placed mine 3.5 weeks ago when they had ~20 in stock and it's been radio silent since. Won't respond to emails either.
If we can figure out how to secure those side rails to the t-slot rails on the BAK X4 Revolver tonneau, I could easily swap between secure tonneau and non-secure soft cap for various usage.
Not finding any eligible stations/terminals in my area, and the longest item they claim to take is 82", while the rails are 94" without packaging. I think at this point I'll look to sell locally.
FedEx is quoting me $333 for home delivery, due to weird size and weight that the package would be. My recommendation would be to have someone from your region ship instead, or even do a mid-point drive-and-meet swap. Let me know what you think.
I'm thinking shipping might be almost as much as the things themselves, but if you give me a zip code I can check a quote. It'll be a PITA to package too, but if you're covering it I'll consider it.
Yeah no worries. FWIW, I have -6 offset wheels with 12.5" wide tires, so there's some poke (~2.5"), but the XL Originals do an excellent job keeping the sides clean. These things are pricey, but they're quality made and I do love the easy removal capability. This is my favorite winter mod hands...
