Why are you using Costcoauto to build and price? I just used the same specs as I did on the jeep.com build tool and it showed "msrp" ~$3,000 more via costco for the same options.

Have you checked with your dealer? What have they said? If you search through many threads here, it appears most get the VIN within a couple of days. Seems like it happens very soon after an order is placed.

Should be very soon. My order was placed in the afternoon and I had a VIN the next day.

I just checked today via Jeep Chat - I'm in G-(trim) status. Ordered JTRD on 11/04. Was shopping at local dealer back in October and salesman said it wold probably be 4-6 months on an order, they only had 4 JTs in inventory (2 new/2 used).

I've been looking at the cryptostickers site every once in a while, and it appears that they are only doing 3.6l v6 builds at the moment. If you sort based on 2022 models, you can see the order dates on some are as late as 11/19. Maybe your shorter ship date is due primarily to engine choice...
