I appreciate you taking the time to respond with a solid answer. I would like to give your lights a try. Do you have a flood yellow pro kit that will work on the 2014 JK? Im still waiting on the gladiator diesel so it's a JKUR for me at the moment. :D
Dont want to sound like a debbie downer.....I really do like the look of the lights, but two things on the spec sheet catch my eye.
1) At 10 meters, which is 30 feet, basically 3 car lengths, is that a typo that the yellow pros deliver only 29 lux?
2) The output lumens are near 6000, but...
Note, the following reply is general, and NOT gladiator specific. In my experiece, these "auto" climate controls in modern vehicles are pretty dumb. They have a thermometer in the vehicle, which reads temp. Lets say your vehicle is 32F inside in the morning, you get in, in your jacket, and...
Its not justified in the slightest. Dealers learned that they can make crazy profits selling brodozers, so they started kitting them out with the chinesium head to toe, and marking it up 250% for all the parts. You could set a Wrangler/Gladiator on fire and still sell it while it's burning.
Strange....when I was getting both my JKUS, the dealers were much more motivated to give me a better price on a rig that's sitting on their lot vs placing an order....but I guess the difference here is, they don't have much sitting on their lot.
I definitely think this is the best looking rack, by far, especially with the curved lines, but, the point of a rack, at least in part, is to mount things, at a minimum some gas cans, some maxtrax, etc. As much as I love it, it just doesn't offer enough utility in its current configuration...
You can do it, but it will cost you close to 75,000 dollars in parts to bomb through the desert. High strength axles and custom bypass full suspension system like the EVO double throw down will be required. If you did it stock, you'd make it a few miles before your axles crack in half. It's...
Wow, great work. I think I have found my next rack. Only thing now would be for me to select my popup hard tent and see if this rack has enough length to mount it.
Not sure how they apply the law. Technically, a 38” tire isn’t actually a 38” tire. To get around a true 38, you’d probably have to run close to a 40” tire. Also, I HIGHLY doubt a cop knows that law and would EVER cite you for it. Remember, NJ also doesn’t do safety inspections so as long as...
Worth every cent....and they don’t fight you NEARLY as much as a dealer would if you have a problem....they don’t blame mods, user error, etc. Had it on all my vehicles in the last 10 years, and it has paid for itself. GEICO is covering my $2000 catalytic converter on my eco diesel grand...
