7/26 order through Gupton, 7/27 vin date, just hit assembly/ scheduling status so finally past the we are currently sourcing parts phase! No build date yet, black rubicon diesel with led's, steel bumper, aux switches and not much else.

Totally spot on, when Hyundai debuted the Veloster back 8-10 years ago or whatever it was, that was actually their halo car at the time used to show their latest design language and technologies.

I doubt this applies the same way to custom orders for the Gladiator, they still need to keep the factories running, just if they are going to cut production they are better off cutting dealer Gladiators which may sit on the lots longer than dealer Wranglers. Either way they know it's...

I ordered a diesel rubicon with Gupton on 7/26 and haven’t received an email yet thankfully. Maybe since the diesel drivetrain is so new they ordered so many more chips for it for the first productions of it and don’t have a shortage of them? Just wishful thinking I guess. So far no issues...

He told me everything looks good from his end. The VIN was accepted as a 2021 model and I'm in D status so he said he would keep an eye on it, but everything looked normal at this point.

Got my VIN earlier this week as well for a black rubicon diesel, sent an email to Daniel at Gupton to see if I’m still on track for what he thought would be 8 weeks or so from VIN to delivery or if things are pushing back to the 2022 models now.
