I’m on day 7 now, dealership called today and asked for the original track bar and steering stabilizer. After they did the TSB and alignment they stated that it is still wandering and can’t figure out why. So I told them I had the original hardware still if needed. Anyone have any ideas on what...
Well I could go around and nitpick everything that is an OEM fuck up, small paint imperfections, a loose trim panel that slightly moves, Aux wires in a panel over, steering wonders, the list just goes on. Anyways for anyone that is having issues finding this, my point is, that it could be...
Winch took about an hour for me, the bumper on the other hand took 6.....Smittybilt decided I didn’t need instructions with my bumper that has a bag full of different length hardware and random brackets.....
Im now on day 4 now...Dealership called me yesterday and said they test drove it, and feel as if it is still wandering on the road and want to further look into the issue.
Anyone get there alignment done after the TSB install? My dealership just called and stated they gonna do this so it would be a couple more hours... eh just want them to wrap this up so I can move on. I wonder if they kind of messed with the pitman arm or something by accident, I didn’t think...
I am in this boat right now, my gladiator is waiting on hardware....they apparently pulled the gear box out and didn’t realize they didn’t have the bolts....So now I am having to wait, they think they can get the bolts tomorrow, so I hope that’s true because my loaner car sucks...
I left my aftermarket parts in (track bar and steering stabilizer) and just informed the dealer I had them installed when I was getting my appointment set up for the TSB, they asked why and told them I like to drive straight and helped a tad in the issue I was having.... wasn’t an issue for them.
I just dropped off mine to the dealership this morning, took about a week and a half to get the parts. I just asked my dealership to look at the TSB and to please perform it, they were very curious about It and excited to give it a try, I’m the first one they are doing.
picked up my gator a few weeks ago, upgraded the track bar, bumper, steering stabilizer first. Goes in hopefully next week for the TSB steering fix (waiting on a part). Planning on a 3-4.5” lift and 37” tires.
Anyone use the rattle cans from mopar to spray aftermarket parts? Specifically looking to paint the aftermarket snorkel and paint it Gator, would use the etch primer, than use the paint and clear coat it. If you have used it did it come out good; anyone have any pictures of what you did?
