  1. Windshield - Only lasted 2 1/2 Months

Within 4 months of having our "new to us" 2020 Gladiator, we got a chip that spidered slightly. I have left it for now. It's not huge. May get someone to look at the chip fix process to see if it will hold. It's the size of a nickel now, I would say. Trying not to get started on my past...
  2. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

I can't imagine how that tiny engine sounds in a big vehicle.
  3. Went to test drive a 2026 RAM Rebel 1500 with 3.0L Hurricane engine

That's one thing that will almost always be tempting to many of us.......that new car feel and smell. I agree, it's super hard to walk off from driving something that feels good.
  4. Who Gnu?

    What Jeep?
  5. Help! Engine light, multiple codes

Unfortunately, that doesn't mean a thing. A duplicate scenario is unlikely. I wish a code would point directly at the issue as well, but unfortunately it's all tied together spaghetti style.
  6. Help! Engine light, multiple codes

I'll jump on the batteries bandwagon as well. Anything wonky with either of them, and error codes and wierd shit abound. Also, just for giggles, if you have any plugged in constantly (i.e. Tazer as you have mentioned) unplug it all and see if that changes anything. My driver's side window...
  7. Mopar Ducks.

My wife got ducked a few days ago for the first time since we bought her JT (yes, that sounds derogatory.....and it is). She was totally gigged out by it and had a smile on her face for hours. That little green phucker is sitting right up on the dash. I could care less, but she liked it, and...
  8. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

Yep - agreed. They were paying through the nose to produce all of those Hellcat variations and all of the other Hemi versions of vehicles too. Maybe that has a bit to do with the $100K price tags........ I'm not here to try to tell them how to run their business in the face of all of the...
  9. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

This is like Taco Bell. Same few ingredients for 7,000 menu items. They could have done this long ago but didn't. It's the same concept as back in the heyday of the muscle car (60's and 70's). 426's in PentaStar products, or the 427 in Chevy's, or the 429 CJ's in the Ford's, or the 455...
  10. 0W-40 in PUG 3.6

FACT Have you seen how long it takes an engine to eat itself with NO oil in it? I absolutely love these oil threads. Every forum man, every one of them.
  11. 0W-40 in PUG 3.6

OP's vehicle listed: 2015 Gladiator. Me's guessing y'all are getting punked.
  12. Someone help me understand! Market adjustment?

These folks can do whatever the hell they want with the pricing. Only thing that matters is whether someone buys it or not. I was watching a used 2020 JT for quite a while. The price came down to something more in our range.....and just when I was about to drive to see/drive it, they moved it...
  13. Found vehicle at distant dealer - better to DX to local?

I'll agree with the deal over the phone comments. I made several deals over the years over the phone prior to long drives to get the vehicles that I wanted at the time. You can work out most of the details before you even see the car, but beware that they won't usually hold a vehicle for you...
  14. Trump tariffs help push Jeep owner Stellantis into massive $2.7 billion loss

    Yeah....but that's only $3.15B in US dollars.
  15. New Nighthawk Issues

That's normal now. Dealer bays are 100% full all of the time due to all of the people needing service for various reasons. Blame it on the fact that the world has too many people and not enough services to support the masses. Gone are the days that you can pull up to a dealer shop and get...
  16. seat comfort

2020 JT Overland here. Leather interior, no issues. My wife has a bad back most of the time too, and she thinks it's comfortable. So far, an over 350-mile ride in it has produced no issues, for us at least.
  17. After Bronco Badlands..Back to my 4th Gladiator!

You mean the rental car version.
  18. Oil Filter Housing And Cooler Leak - Is Mechanic Trying To Screw Me?

If it were me, I'd remove the filter cap and filter and make sure the seal there is intact - or repair it. I experienced this years ago with an earlier version of the 3.6L that had the filter located in the same location.
  19. Non-AGM Battery - 2020 Gladiator

So.....simply purchasing two (2) new AGM correct batteries for the vehicle won't be sufficient??? I have to also charge them additionally and perform the re-learn process for it all to work correctly? Over or under engineered?
  20. Non-AGM Battery - 2020 Gladiator

Yeah - I know. Will be doing this soon for sure.
