Just called into my dealer. Found out my salesman was let go 2 weeks ago and no one picked my order up. The general manager at the dealership seems to think my VIN has already been generated which means the next thing I will hear is that they are going to start assigning VINs sometime around...

I didn’t get a VIN so maybe I can say I got lied to or misinformed by Barbara. What really sucks for the people working this line is I really think they are being told these things and are the ones ultimately catching our frustrations. I may be jumping ship on the GC. We will see.

@JeepCares , you should really be following up with all of us on these pieces of information. What is going on regarding the production deadlines for the LEs?

SOOO, I just spoke to Barbara at the Jeep Concierge line and she said "I was just informed today that the Granite Crystal Launch Editions are to begin VIN assignment today and tomorrow and production by the end of this week". I asked about all these others stuck in D and D1 status for 20-30 days...

At least someone gets to see it and drive it!

I can't speak for everyone else....My patience just started wavering. I just need some sort of indication of where we are regarding the GC LE's. Even if it isn't true. LIE TO ME!

Ok, I'm learning a lot still. When you say you paid invoice price does that mean you paid invoice price OTD or before tax, tag, title?

There were some that went with a different color after learning about the late availability, but I for one am happy I didn’t. I get inpatient, but then I see a GC JL riding around and get excited every time. I am just fine waiting.

The list that was produced that has been right so far shows Granite LE's going into production after prespec and custom order Granite. 7/8 is the day us GC LE people get started so we should see a vin in about 2-2.5 weeks. Jeep has been pretty consistent with that info all along.

Remember, they are producing the pre-spec and non LE GC's before the LE's go into production on 7/8. For a while now I've been told the earliest I would see mine is 8/10 with a likely delivery date of 8/20-9/15, but it could go further. I am road tripping mine to CO in October for a trip so as...

Heard back from my dealer about an hour ago that he spoke with the district. Says everything is good and they accidentally sent the email out to everyone instead of only the people who haven’t gone through a dealer yet. It’s a good thing they have such a devoted following!
