so what has gone wrong with the original process used since 1941 to paint the jeep doors of the past? I’ve owned several jeeps over the years and this is the first Jeep l’ve owned that has these issues? When they switched to aluminum alloys for hinges and body panels? or did the steels ones...
Dude, that’s almost a second mortgage for shocks, links and control harness !! Better, I understand, but geeze, this does not fit into my cheap bastard uniform very well.
My guy at the dealer this morning explained that the aluminum pieces that make up the doors and hinges are made from dissimilar aluminum alloys. The new process includes a dielectric between hinges and door skin, that new process Jeep has been using to stop the corrosion. He also explained...
Finally after two different dealership jerked me around for a year and a half, got mine in this morning for the paint issues, bottom of all the doors, tailgate and hinges under warranty, their saying two weeks + to do the job, plus they gave me a JT rental.
Another option might be for them to build you a new lease that will meet your needs this time. There are usually only a couple of types of leases. One is low payment vs. High residual cost, the other, high cost payments vs. Low residual cost at the end of the lease. Dealers are feeling the...
There are a lot of connections lines between major components in that exhaust system (6 or 7 at least) it’s probably one of those. Straight back to the dealer, make sure to ask them if you can expect this impeccable level of service work to continue on any future visits. Unbelievable.

Your story’s credibility dropped exponentially with the comment “…Amazon, made in USA as well.” Nothing the big “A” sells in made in the USA!
Mine was doing the same after a two day back country trip…the clicking noise was driving me crazy…turned out to be a small rock was jammed into the disc brake shield. Good luck hunting it down.
I didn’t see anything coming out of that spot, but your right about under hood wind. This weep hole thing is beyond my understanding. So like a pressure pop off valve that weeps coolant down and outside of a coolant hose? What pressure is the weep hole set at? The coolants boiling point is 265...
Only when towing…I’ve watched this closely for a while, I think it’s the fitting on the tank end of the hose that is causing the dribble leak. Ordering a new hose to see if that stops the leak. You can see it coming out of the top of the hose connection, almost like it getting past the oring in...
