Start early for Elephant Hill. It is a day trip but you don't have to rush if you get an early start.
(also you have to get a permit which is only available 24hrs in advance)
In Arches there is a trail called Tower Arch Trail. Easy wheeling with a nice walk over slick rock to a great arch.

I grew up in Michigan, one of my friends dad worked for the township doing whatever during the summer but everyone who could drive a truck was on snowplow duty in the winter. They had a pool every year for the first person that hit a car that was parked in the street. He had a picture of the one...
All this crap does is reinforce my bias towards older cars.
Besides my Gladiator (which may be my last new car) I have a 2013 Impala and a 2001 Cherokee XJ.
I was going to buy a Trailhawk Grand for my wife but they are only available on the 4xe now so not doing that.
I will NEVER pay for...
Looks like Electrify America fixed their cold charging issues, that was fast! If they can keep that going maybe an electric car will become more appealing to me. I still can't deal with stopping all the time to charge though.
An example of my travel style
We had to go to Alabama last week, 3000...
I don't really like. Seems like they are going the way of all the other trucks with making it wider, larger front end. I really dislike almost all of the new trucks because of them be artificially big and bloated.
I do like that the EV looks like the gas truck and not something totally different.
I have mine setup so I don't get much back. Some years I pay a little, some years I get a little back. My favorite was the 1.90 refund. I put the check on the wall in my office (this was before direct deposit) but they kept sending me letters about not cashing it so I finally did.
And a new 1/2 ton is 80K; however our Jeeps and a full size truck don't compare to a Model 3. I compared it to a car that is comparable in size and usefulness.
Electric cars are more expensive. You can easily option up a Ionique to 50K but you can get a Elentra N for 30K. So once again....20K...
I didn't say people didn't like them but the thread is titled "Cash In" $4000.00 is not much money when they are so expensive. How many high mileage teslas are actually being used? I have had my Cherokee 20 years, what's a Tesla going to be like when it has been used hard for 20 years?
The model...
"Cashing in" isn't what happens. You pay twice as much money for a car that can't be used when it is cold, causes you to spend 1.5 more times getting somewhere, and has no long term track record.
This is the real issue right now with electric vehicles. If you are into back country travel where there is no why to charge for days they aren't viable. You can't realistically carry an extra battery but you can carry 20 gallons easily.. It will be interesting to see if they can get the range...
