Good find, yes the dealers are afraid of clawback. Some of them will make a gentlemen’s agreement that you won’t do it for 3 months or something like that. A loan amortization calculator is your friend here. Yes it’s added cost but it depends on how long and sometimes the deal may be worth it...
I’m seeing upwards of 23% discounts on them here.
im curious for the ones that make you finance through them. I wonder if there are any negatives against just financing and then paying off.
It’s not bad now that MOBIS came to an agreement but when they went on strike, it halted production of the gladiator yesterday so had this run for longer, it could have been a bigger problem.
Here’s the tracker for all the local unions for anyone interested.
Vote Tracker
I think Jefferson and Mack are the last two big assembly plants to vote. Warren and Sterling Heights already voted to approve it. I think sterling was around 61%. And Warren was like 84%.
Good news is it looks...
This is turning into a cluster….

The jeep plant (uaw local 12) voted down the contract. Will be interesting to see how the other factories vote. Regardless though, even if the ratify the contract, the...
Looks like Mobis is now going on strike and going to cause more delays with the gladiators.
They make the gladiator chassis so I’m pretty sure they don’t have a warehouse over flowing of these so production for a gladiator appears to be dead in the water...
Looks like there just guessing.
That one’s not longer listed as a Rubi x.
I would hope a Rubi x would be the price you listed plus about 2k for the auto transmission.
But for a regular Rubi at 68…don’t even want to think what a Rubi x Would be
Agree. I realized that site is heavily biased after I actually read some of the articles. They seem to be reveling in the fact that some GM unions voted the contract down and they are not covering the unions that voted for eh e contract. It does feel more like propaganda and hopes rather than...
So a couple local unions, 1268 and 75 approved it. This article says all locals will turn over the results to the national union by November 19th.

I can picture people even taking advantage of jeeps even more than a regular car. They may hesitate bringing their Jeep through a water crossing but would have no problem using someone else’s.
Just looking to get everyone’s opinions of all weather matts. The options I’m seeing are:
- Mopar
- Weather Tech
- Quadratec
I’m sure there’s a couple I’m missing. If you have something else let me know! Thx
I’m thinking this as well.
A Rubi wrangler X is 10k more than a Rubi at base.
If this logic follows through, that would make a Rubi x 62995. I guess we have a price for a Rubi and Mojave on the sheet he posted.
