Because they are both trucks and that’s how to soften the ride of the rear axle by moving the shocks closer to the pivot point of the suspension. The further you sit them back, the more “leverage” they have on the axle and the stiffer the ride will be.
Yeah I noticed that too. If you only lightly depress the brake, it will not turn the car off. But if you come to a light and stop with the pedal down with a lot of pressure, that triggers the ESS.
Considering ordering these for my Willys. I have the Weathertec mudflaps already but when I go bigger tire I want to make sure I limit as much tire flung crap as possible. Anyone install these with the Weathertecs?
