OK... finally got to try my theoretical fix for the âweekend warriorâ flip up end of the tonneau cover!
3â steel gate hooks, screwed into tonneau brace bar, directly above factory hole in tailgate pillar. Tighten or loosen gate hook screw to adjust tension on hooks. They lock in super tight...
Garbage day! Up here in the Mountains of the Santa Fe National Forest, at our off-grid cabin, we donât have garbage pickup. Twice a week, the FedGov (Forest Service) allows us to haul our own garbage to a specific collection facility. Anyway, when I used to haul it on a trailer, government...

I placed âem where I could get the most purchase on the tailgate pillar... wasnât sure how solid theyâd be! (Turns out... super solid!) They lie flat against the brace when rolled up... no problem. But you could place them any way you want I reckon, as long as they easily insert into factory...

Is that the Warn âMid-Heightâ grille guard? Thatâs the one I want! Does it block the forward camera? What kind of winch? I was considering âRough Countryâ. ;{
Took Buck off-road first time... we have some pretty rocky, lumpy, bumpy, traces (wouldnât go so far as to Call them roads, or even tracks, more akin to âanimal trail/rocky creek bedsâ) around here... all of âem steep (we are in the mountains) all of âem forested. Got to disconnect swaybar and...
