I have a setup that does what you are looking for. I use the Agricover Adirack aluminum series, but ordered the uprights for an F-150. This gives taller uprights and wider crossbars. I added the height extending accessory blocks, and use a Thule SUP Taxi on the cross bars. It provides plenty of...
My 2020 came with the factory hard top and soft top. Iāve owned Jeeps for over 30 years, and I have to say the soft top in my Gladiator is by far the easiest to open up. 2 levers, and fold it back, very fast and easy. just as simple to close it up. It takes just a little more time to remove the...
These are Adarac Aluminum Series bed racks that Iāve mounted on custom stainless steel brackets to allow the factory roll up tonneau cover to work. I added the T-slot channel Accessory Tracks which really stiffened up the rack system and added mounting points for additional accessories. Note...
I used Adarack Aluminum Series uprights and cross bars, but ordered the F150 size to get taller uprights so I could carry surfboards with the soft top open. I custom made mounts that bolt to the trail rails and allow use of the factory soft tonneau cover. Super strong, super rigid and functional...
The overhang is a tradeoff for sure, but it doesnāt really bother me. I prefer that over the systems that put the tonneau cover inside the bed rails, which effectively narrows the top of the truck bed.
I designed a set of custom mounting brackets to support a set of Adarack Aluminum Series bed racks, and had them bent out of stainless steel by a metal fabrication company. I use them to carry surfboards and SUPs on and off road. They bolt into a set of aftermarket trail rails, and allow full...
Honestly, the old knob style Thule racks work great, and I think they are superior to the more āmodernā style in terms of strength and load carrying. I moved these over from my ā93 Wrangler, where they served since it was new.
I used one on the front of my ā93 Wrangler, and am considering putting a front mounted hitch on the Gladiator to use the same basket. For the Wrangler, A large cooler and other gear would obscure the headlights, to I added snowplow lights which Iād use when fully loaded. Mounting it in front...
Great looking rack, functional and nice geometry. I'm curious if you tracked the cost of materials and the number of hours it took you to fabricate just the aluminum rack. I'm trying to get a handle on what it would cost to have a similar rack custom fabricated vs. buying something off the shelf.
Is $105,000 the price for the complete rig with all the upgrades? Does anyone know the price for the camper alone? It looks well constructed and pretty functional for such a small footprint unit.
I installed this aftermarket Trail Rail system. Looks identical to the factory furnished set, nice quality and good finish. AT $219, I thought the price was reasonable and it was delivered quickly. I use it with a cargo net among other purposes. Amazon Trail Rail kit
I would certainly be interested in that. I really like the look and simplicity of the Mopar Tonneau cover, plus I already have one. The ability to add a rack system while retaining the factory cover seems to be the Holy Grail.
