@Batlou - thank you! I think they add a lot of mounting options to the roof. Unfortunately, I custom made them - and spent more than I'd like to admit to do it (mostly my stubbornness to powder coat them OD Green)
M8x20 go to the rails. M8x30 should go bracket to bracket to account for shims

Curious here - has anyone mounted the Alucab ladder inside the canopy (to store)? Like using the top t-track and 'quick fists' clamps or something? Seeing if anything is out there or ideas
I know 813 Fab has made one for the modcaps...
Looking for a band-aid fix with a pending trip in 2 weeks. Need something cheap, fast and easy for now. Lift/HD Springs in the future
Probably going airbags seems straight forward
Looking for some opinions on rear spring assist options... short term and cheap fix until lift.
Running stock Rubicon suspension with an Alu-cab Contour Canopy and RTT setup, it's full time daily. Truck seems to handle it fine, sags a bit but keeps rake. When on trips I try to keep it as light...
Won't be there but I know there is going to be some new products and great rigs in the Alu-cab, OK4WD, and GP Factor booth. I'd check it out if you're going
I'm still open to it but there isn't a really good way to do it unless I get a bunch of pre-orders to get cost down for bulk ordering. Otherwise it's like $500 for an order of 3 that are powder coated black. If you're interested we can talk separately.
As for the Maxxtrax -using the GP Factor...
Ya not sure why alu-cab does it this way but they are riveted to a swivel bracket in the canopy. Just two though on each end of the light. I drilled them out and put small bolts back on instead. Once the light is detached from the bracket, there are four phillips heads screws on the back to...
As someone who bought in early 2024 (I was an idiot and impatient) on a new Rubicon X with almost every option. $48k is a steal on a X, especially with 2025 only being paint options differences. I think it depends on what you are looking for and the packages on the plain Rubicon -...
Best place to get the National Luna lights in the US is Equipt. You can replace the plastic covers with either amber or red. I have the amber cover on the lights that come with the canopy. They are notorious for having bad switches, so give them a jiggle. You'll have to drill out the rivets on...
There are a couple different kinds that you can find on amazon. Not too expensive either.
I wouldn't mess with the spacers if that's not the cause of the water intrusion.
I second the tailgate gap seal, works for dust too.
Tough to tell from the photo. I had a leak coming from the top of the canopy but stopped after I put a tent on it. Never found the cause, thought it might be a rivet that didn't have enough sikaflex on it or canopy just needed some weight on...
I recommend looking at Maximus 3.
They make their own winch plate and have a entire kit you can customize to what you want. Choice between Warn Evo or Zeon and Superwinch. It's a very solid kit.

Looks great!! Honestly the extra space from the mid-feet is a blessing. It so hard to clean under the tent with the low feet. Definitely have enough room to fab up a bracket for that chase light you want or add the alucab table
I've been meaning to contact AVO about putting a frankenstein lift...
