I never noticed it happening until I added the Warn Winch. Then my Mopar 2" Lift came in and it has never bottomed out since. I have upgraded the Fox Shocks too.
The struts in the back are to take some of the load when popping up the top. I have a couple different ones depending on how much gear is going on top.

Turning the fan on early (before you get hot) does help, but the engine heat will still eventually overpower the cooling system. It just gives you a little more time until you derate.

I installed as per the markings on each spring. No issues. With a winch and lights up front I did upgrade to the Fox Performance Elite Series 2.5 adjustable shocks. Now I can make it ride how I want. With a camper on the back it is nice to adjust the ride.
