We tow our 2022 Gladiator Sport S with Max Tow behind our Foretravel bus using a Road master Nighthawk towbar and the Airforce 1 system for airbrakes. Going on 6 years now with no problems. Easy hookup and release. We are full-time riders, so we appreciate how easy it is to tow a Jeep!
Hi! We tow our 2022 Gladiator named Russell behind our Class A diesel pusher. We use a Roadmaster tow bar with an Air Force 1 system. We have air brakes and the Air Force 1 is an easy hook up for the lights and brakes.
We considered changing out Russell's front bumper, but ultimately decided...
I've been rving full time for a few years. I tow my Gladiator behind my diesel motorhome. I just cleaned and put gel on my tires yesterday. Putting the gel on gives me an opportunity to closely examine the tires for cracks in the rubber.
My drive and tag axle tires are 6 or 7 years old and...
I Agee with ShadowsPapa. I would get a new electrical cord and and make sure it's tightly connected. We tow our Gladiator behind our rig all the time, (we're full timers), and haven't had any issues.
We bought the ARE for our '22 Max Tow. We looked at the Alu-Cab also but, decided that the classic cx met our needs the best.
The Gladiator gets towed behind our motorhome, so we didn't need to use a roof top tent or anything like that. We accessorized it with the fold up windows on the sides...
Most states require an auxiliary braking system for flat towing a vehicle. I'm not sure that you would be pulled over, but in the event of an accident you could be held liable.
To the OP, we use an Air Force 1 braking system. It's very easy to hook up and accommodates our air brakes. We have a...
I don't have any experience with towing a flat bed car trailer, but I wouldn't think that it would be any harder to drive. That being said, loading and unloading would be a chore, as well as connecting and disconnecting. While I've not done it I've watched it being done.
Another option would...
You might want to check with the rental company if you haven't already. Some companies don't allow towing. We rented a few times before buying and they didn't allow it.
For a one time thing it isn't really cost effective. I think it cost us about $3500 for ours to be set up to tow. This...
That's a wonderful place to visit. My wife and I spent the day on the island back in the first part of May. We didn't stay there though. We were in an rv park in Delaware. Hope you enjoyed it!
My wife and I are full-time rv'ers and we flat tow our Gladiator behind our diesel bus class A motor home. We use a Road master Nighthawk tow bar and baseplate. Our auxiliary braking system is an Air Force One because we have air brakes. The Gladiator is a great tow vehicle in my opinion. I...
The best thing I've found for bug removal on windows is a wet used dryer sheet. It will remove the bug guts like magic. It leaves a film on the window that's easily removed with either soap and water or Windex.
So far in about a year we've been to TN, AR, TX, OK, MS, KS, CO, NM, LA, MISS, AL, FL, SC, GA, NC. We've covered a little bit over 14,000 miles.
In the interest of full disclosure, my wife and I are full-time rv'ers and we travel about 10 months out of the year.
First time poster, long time lurker. I've learned so much from this forum. Y'all were very helpful in helping me decide which Gladiator to buy a year and a half ago. Also turned me on to Guptons. Very grateful for that, as we got a great deal!
We bought a Sport S with the Maxtow package in the...
I have the Bestop Premium Vinyl with cotton backing in my TJ. I plan on putting them in my JT when I get it. They're easy to clean, just wipe them down with a damp cloth. They do a good job of protecting the cloth seats. Reasonably priced and easy to put on. Bestop.com
