I believe that changed with the 2021's (and possibly very late 2020's that had the option for painted fenders, similar to Overlands). Previously the Sport S only got them with the Max Tow package, and what it actually got was the "base" Rubicon non-LED lights.
In any case, mine aren't "happy"...
Correct - my high-output element illuminates for the DRL but the the dimmer element for the running/parking lights does not, even when "Park" is selected on the dash knob.
Thanks for the reply; I'm also attempting to use replacement LED's but would like to retain the "Park" function *IF* it actually works for anyone in the first place. Do I understand that yours didn't work in "Park" before you did the LED upgrade either?
Okay, scratching my head and wondering so hope somewhere here has an answer.
I have a Sport S w/Max Tow option that uses a front fender light setup equivalent to the "Base" Overland/Rubicon, i.e., one 7440NA single filament turn signal lamp and one dual filament 7443 DRL/Park lamp on each side...
I don't really know - the dealer did the installation of it, trail rails, bed coating, and folding tonneau cover before I took ownership of the vehicle as part of the deal to purchase.
The Cargo Management option can be dealer installed - mine was - to get the 120v outlet in the bed, BUT I didn't get the one in the interior or the dual USB ports on the back of the console.
Does it create issues for your radio when you use it? For example, if I'm waiting at an intersection with my turn signal on (and the camera on) and change stations, after I turn and the camera goes off the radio goes back to the station it was previously on before I changed it. Some sort of...
I saw - but that doesn't always prove that all of the elements in all three sections are working properly unless I know what the voltage drop or current draw are supposed to be and at this point I want to have pictorial evidence.
Yeah, that's what you don't want. They broke my original window out. It goes back today for them to "look at" what's wrong with the defogger now. Sure wish I could get a look at the factory recommended procedure to install/replace these just for my own education.
It looks like just a blob of RTV. No paint involved, just concerned that the RTV won't have enough "give" when removing the top, causing the glass to break. I'd really like to see instructions from FCA on how it's "supposed to be" done so I can get back with the dealer.
Have to go back again...
And so it continues. Returned this time and looks a lot like they used black RTV along the top edge of the rear window channel. Didn't put much effort in cleaning the excess off the outside of the glass either. Remains to be seen if the leak is repaired, or if the defogger works. Not thrilled...
New here and ... "me too". Rear window leaking above left passenger, took to dealer and they had to get approval from FCA then order a replacement rear glass. Sent it to "the best auto glass shop in town" and it came back installed crooked:
Called it to the attention of the service manager...
