  1. Whining/Grinding when turning left or right

I've heard that before on different vehicles but this doesn't sound like that. The wheel doesn't have to be all the way turned for it to do it. It seems just doing it at slow speeds in general does it
  2. Whining/Grinding when turning left or right

It's a Willys with limited slip diff if that's what you mean. Trac loc that is
  3. Whining/Grinding when turning left or right

To give some history about the jeep, I got it over a month ago. It has the Mopar 2.5in lift with 35in tires 12.5x20. When I turn at either direction it makes the noise described in the video. Only seem to notice at low speeds. The jeep has 54k on it and I don't think the diff fluid has ever...
  4. Got the dreaded paint bubble. Seems like an easy diy?

That's what gets me with some of the places it's happening. Makes no sense. In my view it can be one of 2 things. Poor prep work of the aluminum beforehand and it shows up first at the hinges just because of all the moving parts associated and ease of water finding a path. And the other thing...
  5. Got the dreaded paint bubble. Seems like an easy diy?

Question is. If the jeep dealership says they are going to repaint them, can't you fight that with corp since they are instructing dealerships to replace? And I heard in other threads about it happening at the windshield frame to. Which imo destroys the notion of it being 2 different kind of...
  6. Got the dreaded paint bubble. Seems like an easy diy?

This is my biggest issue. In my work, I see a lot of jeeps parked often since I'm in the vacation realty biz. Occasionally I will walk up to one either it be a wranger or gladiator and it's a 50/50 shot that I see bubbled paint around the hinges. I wonder if most people get to the point of fk it...
  7. Oracle tail lights install

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BK83RSZH?ref_=pe_123509780_1038749300_t_fed_asin_title Pretty easy to put on. Had to cut a slit at the corners so it lays down better.
  8. Changed out AUX battery, no ESS service but also not working.

Started working 2 weeks ago. Turns out I think I wasn't depressing the brake hard enough lol. Now looking in to that device that turns it off at every ignition. Hundred bucks though is steep for what it is.
  9. Oracle tail lights install

I did a lot of reading in here on which flush mount tail lights seem to look the best. Settled on Oracle as I just didn't like the other designs. I'm aware of a potential quality control issue some have. I read somewhere else in here where they got a rubber gasket off Amazon to help seal around...
  10. Got the dreaded paint bubble. Seems like an easy diy?

Thing is what are people doing out of warranty? And if let go how bad have people seen this get on these aluminum panels. I'm a new jeep owner and live near the beach so naturally I freak out about this stuff. Live in MB and might as well be called jeep country of the south east so I know...
  11. Got the dreaded paint bubble. Seems like an easy diy?

It is August of 2026. These spots were not there a week ago. Literally showed up over night so if it's on your hood I would look a lot closer in other areas.
  12. Got the dreaded paint bubble. Seems like an easy diy?

Was reading the forum on it the other day hoping to God I never get it...sure enough this morning noticed paint bubbling around 2 hinges and I also noticed some white powderish look on the hood hinges near the bottom which I can only assume that is the aluminum corroding underneath. Swear to God...
  13. Lasfit or Z Automotive AUX Switches

Ok been doing some reading on both and I see both have their goods and bads. 1st. I was curious if I could get input from anyone who has either had had any issues with them. For Z Automotive, I like how it installs and the fact it has a serviceable power distribution block with fuses. What I...
  14. Jeep Gladiator Locking Fuel Door

I looked at that cap but I gotta question those pins.. they look cheap. Pins in any normal lock are always brass and the look of these reminded me of cheap pop metal. I can only imagine this seizing up and the lock having to be drilled out and then you got metal shavings in your tank
  15. Changed out AUX battery, no ESS service but also not working.

God now you got my mind thinking mechanical failures lol. Are the spark plugs known to go out on these? Only 4 years old and since I'm a jeep newbie im still learning. I had thought a lot of the engine problems were figured out with the pentastars since 2018.
  16. Changed out AUX battery, no ESS service but also not working.

I don't have the circle anymore since replacing the battery when I switch to the a.s.s screen it will say things properly like cannot start due to ac cooling or the wheel is turned. When I turn off ac and go to a stop it'll switch from saying ready to not ready. No charging indicator or...
  17. Changed out AUX battery, no ESS service but also not working.

I was starting to wonder that. Thing is I had both batteries out, I would think that alone would reset the IBS. Funny thing is when I'm driving it'll say "start/stop Ready". 2 seconds after being at a stop light it says not ready. Hopefully it's just learning. Irony is if it does start working I...
  18. Myrtle Beach natives - where do you take your jeep for service

Looking for a good place to take my gladiator for a check up. Bought over a month ago and I've heard most people prefer FBK customs over the dealer. 2021 so it's out of warranty and curious if anyone has experience with them. Mainly going to look over ball,CV joints, fluids.
  19. Changed out AUX battery, no ESS service but also not working.

OK for starters I don't want ass but I had the service start stop light on constantly and I had heard a bad AUX will eventually kill your main. My bright Idea was to change the aux via the engine bay as I didn't have a jack big enough on me to pull the front tire "don't trust the factory crap...
