To give some history about the jeep, I got it over a month ago. It has the Mopar 2.5in lift with 35in tires 12.5x20. When I turn at either direction it makes the noise described in the video.

That's what gets me with some of the places it's happening. Makes no sense. In my view it can be one of 2 things. Poor prep work of the aluminum beforehand and it shows up first at the hinges just because of all the moving parts associated and ease of water finding a path.

Pretty easy to put on. Had to cut a slit at the corners so it lays down better.
Started working 2 weeks ago. Turns out I think I wasn't depressing the brake hard enough lol. Now looking in to that device that turns it off at every ignition. Hundred bucks though is steep for what it is.

I looked at that cap but I gotta question those pins.. they look cheap. Pins in any normal lock are always brass and the look of these reminded me of cheap pop metal. I can only imagine this seizing up and the lock having to be drilled out and then you got metal shavings in your tank
