Ok.. a little stuck on this bumper. Seller didn't send the right stuff and cover came in damaged. Started the install today with the winch, and I'm baffled what all the brackets are, that are included with the kit. Does the winch plate only mount in the front? .

not sure how bad the damage is, but could get paint touch up kit for about $25 and touch it up.. just a thought.

i bought Rubi bumper and it's coming with those.. color is just off as they are red, but not as noticeable. i won't be using those.

if you look, there's some answers on that here. it seems most people did do a 2 or 2.5 spacer lift to save the shocks as those are pretty solid shocks that come with it. if you think of replacing them, then a lot more options open up to you. my 2 cents.

I haven't put my on yet.. planning on it this weekend. but i'm about 240.. and me leaning on the entire front bumper, it seems it drops about half an inch.

question. I did get the bumper and winch today. If you did or did not lift your truck, how much did you front end sag down with the Rubi bumper and winch? i think between the 2, it's probably 250lbs weight. I measured out and seems about 1/2" front end is less than rear as it sits stock. my...

@LCF But this is where you are making an uneducated guess.. you're saying it's the wrong kit and i'm altering suspension incorrectly, but without any justification why and how. Reason, because you are not sure yourself. I see what needs drilled, but will find out more today if the spring housing...

awesome.. looking great fellas. just put in my order to day on the X-bull winch and the bumper.. next is the 2" or 2.5" spacer lift. having a friend come over today with his Rubicon Gladiator to figure out exact difference between mojave and rubi.

Chris, that's what i thought too, but people i talked to stated that they had to drill out to 14mm for the bolts on Mojave shock. talked to a guy who ordered recently and didn't use it. he said it requires drilling. again, just trying to understand the exact differences.

thanks Joseph.. the one i am looking at has the exact same components and look near identical. I get the value in name, trust me. i am curious besides the shock extensions, are the sway bar links the same? is the housing for springs the same as rubicon. If so, Rubicon spacer kit is far cheaper...

Is anyone running a winch on the bumper? I'm seeing holes where the front cover comes off that is not covered by the winch plate. Is that the case? BTW, bumpers are looking great ?
