  1. Gasser real world fuel economy

Overland, 3.5/2.5' lift, 35s, KO2s, Smittybilt XRC front bumper, Smittybilt X20 12,000 winch, Fishbone steel rear bumper, NFAB trail sliders, DV8 bedside sliders: I probably drive highway 25-30% of time. I'm ranging from 17.6 - 18.0. Crazy, but it's actually improved after adding the heavy...
  2. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

Replaced silver grill inserts with black
  3. Different Tire for Spare

Maybe so, and great if people want to do it, but it would have to be about $700 savings for me and the potential damage incurred underneath, but if you car Yep, I see, but I'm doubtful that I'm going to save move than my cost of $700 and I'll be replacing and tire or 2 before the mileage...
  4. Different Tire for Spare

I also carry tire repair kit, but want a spare to temporarily get me somewhere if needed....I guess I don't appreciate the reason for a 5 wheel rotation and the 5th wheel and tire of same quality and expense as the others and it being underneath the truck and almost never used.
  5. Different Tire for Spare

I run KO2 35s. I think I've finally concluded to put a fairly inexpensive similar size on my factor spare. I was at 4WP's the other day and I think we decided a Procomp AT Sport 315 70 17 could do the trick. They had them on sale for about $230, which probably ends today.
  6. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

yeah, I like the Armory’s. I thought about them seriously and once I saw the Teraflex Nomads I knew I wa Ted those. The Teraflex have 0 offset, 4.75” backspacing. Gasser

Oops wrong thread - oh well
  8. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Crypto’s been good: 1) Smittybilt front bumper and winch 2) NFab Trail sliders 3) Fishbone rear bumper
  9. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

I feel like accelerating isn’t much different, but yes like others say, it can seem challenged to get into 8th and I can feel higher winds impacting. I’m not on the highway a ton right now and I feel like Ive learned the feel to help it get to 8th. I’ve also just ordered a tazer to reset the...
  10. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

I’m no expert, but researched quite a bit and felt safe going up to 35s as it’s my daily drive. I absolutely love the wheels, tires, lift (and do does everyone else that sees it everyday!) after I did it. I don’t feel any performance drop. MPG fell to currently 16.7 after about 1,200 miles on...
  11. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

Further....I think it’s peppy. it’ll spin the 35s accelerating at an intersection and no probs on the road / getting on interstate - no difference that I’ve noticed - if you’re talking more about driving on road. I have a lot of wind here and does feel like driving a billboard (as someone else...
  12. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

I’ve been doing some fairly moderate rock climbing / crawling and was in some pretty messy mud / clay this weekend and have no complaints. Road and trail driving just fine. I’m not as experienced as others, so may not appreciate the differences. I’m looking forward to bigger tests to better...
  13. Rock Rails Thread

I saw the DV8 bedside sliders on Quadratec’s site for like $350. Been meaning to look closer at them, but haven’t had chance yet
  14. Rock Rails Thread

I bookmarked this...and trying to find another option that I found https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/installing-mopar-rear-bed-rock-rails-on-overland-and-sport-gladiators.21140/#post-325939
  15. How tall is your JT

Overland - hard top, 3.5” lift and 35s...it’s around 78” tall. Garage at my office is 80” and feel like Im ducking - stock antenna hits a few places. My garage at home is tall and no problems there. I have noticed a lot of parking garages are 6’ 6” and I won’t fit
  16. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

    A little fun
  17. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

The Overland 3.73. I don’t feel any difference with the 35s compared to the stock wheels and tires. Haven’t done anything too difficult on trails yet and feels fine and decent power for now. We’ll see how it goes.
  18. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

Btw, looks like I’ve lost about 2 mpg after 500 miles on the new suspension, wheels and tires. I’m at total of 1,000 miles now I’ve leveled out at 16.8 mpg - probably only 30% of time on highway
  19. Kev’s Build - Overland 35s / 3.5” Lift

Waiting for some more choices on rails and narrowing down front bumpers. Focused the last week on refreshing my recovery gear, tools, etc, I’ve made full use of storage under back seats, behind back seat and under 2 front seats
