I've always loved the Wrangler look but didn't like it's unruly nature on the road.
I first saw a firecracker red gladiator at a local car wash. It was being vacuumed out by its smiling faced owner as I was entering the wash in my nondescript Japanese sedan thinking that the Gladiator was bad...
It may not be cheap (cost wise) but I'm sure the price will come down eventually and it looks like they're headed in the right direction mechanically at least for some folks.
Sounds like you're happy with the deal and that's what matters.
Besides, you're going to have a set of axles to sell that'll help offset the price you paid.
I have the QRC bumper w/10k winch.
I'm only running 33's and I have no rubbing issues.
I also added a 1.5" spacer lift up front because of the extra weight
Cold dense air working against the brick shaped aerodynamics of the JT may contribute to lower fuel economy.
I know my JT suffers lower than normal mpg's in colder weather.
My 2 cents...
Took delivery of my JT on April 1st 2021.
Loved it then and still do.
No problems with it so far at 27k miles.
I still go out to the driveway just to admire her beauty.
She's a keeper.
I had no problem with the installation on mine.
Dropped it one day after work, picked it the following day.
20k miles later they still look & feel great.
