. Took my Mojave swimming. 110 degrees today and Mo needed to cool off.

8 sped auto. It just doesn’t want to stay in 8th gear. I’m thinking of shifting it to manual 8 while on the freeway to force it into 8th gear. Haven’t tested to see if this will work.

Sold my 2003 4Runner that I had for 18 years for my Mojave. The 4Runner had a V8 with a 3 inch Teraflex lift and 33’s. It got 17 mpg all day long. Kinda crazy, my Mojave that’s brand new with a V6 gets worse gas mileage.

2021 Mojave - stock lift and stock 33's and 4.10 rear. 16-17 mpg in the city. 14-15 mpg on the freeway where its 75mpg on the freeway. Anything over 70 mph puts my rpm over 3000 and kills my gas mileage.

20 mpg? I get 16-17 mpg in the city and 15-16 mpg on the freeway and that's with the stock 33's that came on the Mojave. Best mpg was 19.6 going downhill with the wind at 55 mph. Anything over 70 and it shifts to 7th gear and over 3000 rpm. MPG killer. I'm cringing at what my mpg will be...

After I bought it and went to the parts department to ask about the 2 inch lift, they said that 35's will fit on the Mojave 17 x 7.5 wheel with its offset and they would do it. Should have had it done as part of the buying process.

I purchased this. Took 2 months to get it from Quadratec. You'll have to remove the rear headrests or fold down as it pushes the rear window out. Also, the engineering on the front straps and how they connect is very bad. Lot of wind buffering. Looks absolutely awesome, but badly engineered.

So can a Gladiator with a 6 inch lift and 37's.

First time I took my hard top off, I laid it on the bed rails and scratched them. Should have used towels. Now, I have a hoist. Super easy.

Sounds like it locks you'd have to lower the windshield and screw it in like the best top bimini. Probably why it rolls forward. It's the only way to get a good waterproof tight fit up front.

Agree. I didn't get the soft top, because of how ridiculous it looks. I too would give up a foot or so of bed space for the top to sit there.
