That is actually why I went away from the Twi-Fold. My Gravel & MTB wouldn't fit straight, so it either pushed up to the point it disconnected the cover at the hinge (had to reconnect when folding back down) or put it vertical which is awful when driving with no top/doors. You need a...
When I had the Mopar twi-fold, it would close (albeit not perfectly flat). The Bak4 Revolver won't lock because it's much tighter & secure. And the end of the day, with the exception of the really expensive hard covers, if anyone wants in, they'll get it.
Well...I took off the steering stabilizer, still pulls right. Replaced the stock with the Falcon Nexus 2.2 and steering feels great on all settings....except IT STILL PULLS RIGHT!!!!
I can feel it in the steering...as soon as I let go of the wheel, it moves 10 degrees or so to the right. Even...
@JeepCares I have taken it to three different dealers, two aftermarket shops, and they have had it on hoists, apart, and reviewed everything. This pull is one of the most frustrating things I have every faced in a vehicle.
At this point it is dangerous to drive and Jeep should be addressing...
I'm pretty disappointed. This pull just makes driving it not fun...everything else I love, but if you don't like driving a vehicle, everything else is essentially a waste.
Sent my inquiry about a Ford Bronco today...we'll see what happens.
I haven't yet....that was next up. I was thinking about the Falcon steering stabilizer as my last fix. I may try and remove it this week and see what happens.
Well...sadly the steering box replacement didn't fix my right pull issue. The steering is better and tighter, but the pull is still there. It is dangerous on both city streets and highways. On the highway I have to hold the steering left to change from the left lane to the right lane...
Went it today, they are doing the replacement and actually will have the parts and everything on Wednesday (two days vs. months!) so here's hoping the problem will be solved by Thursday! I'll let you know how it goes!
I have had this nasty steering pull every since putting the MC 2.5 lift, Falcon Shocks, and 35s. It's had alignments, reviewed all the suspension components, and finally at a local shop yesterday the brought the caster back within spec, but it still has the crazy pull.
Called the local...
It all depends...they get various incentives, givebacks, discounts, etc. It's all about what you negotiate, how you are paying, etc. No one should ever pay over invoice... You have to do your research, have a bottom line number, and hold your ground. I negotiated with four different...
Invoice is what the dealer pays, MSRP is the sticker price on the window. Always target below invoice. There are spreadsheets and calculators on here that you can use to calculate what you should be paying based on the options, model, etc. I wouldn't use it as a black & white tool, but a...
I can tell you that I wouldn't deal with Glendale or Lou Fusz. Glendale wouldn't negotiate at all and keep telling everyone that they should pay a premium to buy from them. Not sure how they are the highest volume when also the highest price... Lou Fusz would deal, but wouldn't move past...
