I've not let my Gladiator get much below half a tank. I just don't like letting it get low. I drove it home from Austin to Dallas without filling up, and it had a quarter tank in it when I got back. That's the furthest I've let it go down.
I've been toying with the idea, carpet in a Jeep doesn't seem to make sense especially if I were to leave the tops off and it rained. I was curious about what people have done after they pulled the carpet out, I know Weathertech and others make floor liners but I'm interested in actual...
All I'm saying is, you're not going to stick a pocketknife through the top of an aluminum cover. Yeah, you could pry it open but I would say that it takes at least a little more effort, and I'm very likely not out a tonneau cover after they do it either.
Some people swear by the soft cover, but I have a hard time shelling out money for something that a street hood with a pocketknife could break into. The hard cover could be broken into, but it would take a lot more effort. Just my 2 cents.
What sold me on the Rough Country tonneau cover was that you didn't have to finagle with levers and twisting things around to open the panels. YOu pull on a wire, and the back section opens. You pull on the next wire, and the middle section opens. No, the third section doesn't open, but if it...
I could do it, I've done very little to my Sport-S actually, and I've rolled before with radios that were way sub-par to what would come in the base Sport model. I'm rolling with the tires I got from the factory, I just can't justify in my head paying for a new set when I'll get at least 3...
No, and I've never given it a second thought. If I towed more than I do, maybe I would have reconsidered, but I don't. And besides, I really love the Pentastar.
Man I don't own a diesel, but I think this is a no-brainer. The hybrid buys you 15 miles on a charge, if it's like the Wrangler. And the batteries likely chew up a lot of payload capability, although I don't know that for sure. I think Jeep has a long way to go before they are taken seriously...
My tonneau cover and side rails put me over 1K by themselves. I've got less than 2K in it aftermarket. I've done about everything I'm planning to do, other than new wheels and tires at some point but I probably won't deal with that until the factory tires are worn out.
Nope, no ducks yet. I was driving home last night from the fireworks show and a guy tooted his horn at me, and as i was turning left he went by me waving, a white JTR. It's a nice community, on the whole.
This is the first time I've owned a vehicle that had the topless capability that the Gladiator does. I find myself looking for reasons to take the freedom panels off and drive around. I've had the entire top off once, and I loved it and will be doing that more as well, maybe not until October...
My sport is really nice to drive on the highway. I've taken trips to Galveston and back, and Austin and back, and I've not experienced anything that I would attribute directly to the Jeep. It's all stock at the moment, by the way. On some types of pavement, I can hear tire reverb more, but it...
I've had vehicles that had to be fixed because a squirrel or maybe a rat bit on a wire they could get to underneath. And the worst part is, when they determine that it was a critter, that's not covered under any of your warranties so you have to get it fixed on your own dime.
