I’m off until Friday so I’m going to look at cutting the air box and inserting something to create a pocket for the wires so they don’t rub at all. I’ll post some pictures when I do it. I know, something we shouldn’t have to do, but, it will give me piece of mind. It was very hard to seat the plug.

The only part it turns off is the drl bars on the Elite Max and welcome sequence. I didn’t see anything for halos except changing color. Am I missing something? I thought the red wire is power for off-road and blue is the switch wire.

@Benbean66 I don’t think there is a way to turn halos off unless you turn your DRL’s off altogether using Jscan or Tazer.

I already had that fuse tapped also to make my Voswitch switched. I was going to tap the heated seats circuit for this but ended up just putting it on one of my switches on my Voswitch. It controls the offroad part of the lights.

@Diode Dynamics , how about a 90 degree connector. The hard plastic connector would be against the airbox instead of the wires. Do they make one that could be retrofitted for those of us that already have these installed? Just a thought.

I would guess definitely not the frame. My daughter that I gave my 12 Ram 1500 to was here yesterday and parked next to my Gladiator. Ram noticeably bigger. Maybe engine transmission and some electronics.

Darkhorse13 is right. Everything except offroad worked on mine until I hooked up the red tap a fuse and blue wire correctly. How bright are your offroad lights? I guess I expected it to be a lot brighter.

@WarMouth did problems start when you started the engine? That’s when mine started.

@WarMouth, mines tight against air filter box also. I didn’t notice until aiming them. I may pull the box again and put something around wires.
