Where'd the table from the OP in this thread come from? I just got off the phone with my dealer and they said the last "they heard" Hydro Blue Pearl won't be available to ORDER until October or November. I called Jeep directly, and they said I have to talk to the dealer about availability.
I just called my dealer. The guy I spoke to said the last THEY "HEARD" ORDERS for Hydro Blue will start in October/November. Not DELIVERY...ORDERS. WTF?!
Not yet. I'd LOVE to ca
Not yet. I'd LOVE to call someone at JEEP that would be able to give us some kind of date instead of bothering the messenger...
I went from a lifted JK to driving a Renegade to waiting for my Gladiator. It is HARD for me to be patient. So...hoping I have my truck by Christmas? LOL.
Surely different lines and booths. There's a lot to change out to do different colors. Lines, nozzles, ect. They wouldn't switch them back and forth. Not cost efficient.
That's pretty darn close to Hydro Blue. I'd have a hard time dropping the kind of money it costs for good custom paint just to get a color that will basically be available from the factory in a few months. But hey, I don't have an unlimited budget for a Jeep.
Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Fiat...whatever we want to call them, has been pretty good about colors being the same across platforms. They have SO many different blues, I see no reason they would call the Gladiator blue Hydro Blue Pearl if it wasn't exactly the same as the other Hydro Blue Pearl...
I saw a black LE on my way into work today. First Gladiator I've seen in the wild with the top removed. Looked good, but that guy should have the doors off too IMO.
No leather for me either. I plan to go topless about half the year and I don't want the deal with the maintenance to keep the leather in good shape. PLUS, I'm not a fan of burning my legs on hot leather in the summer. I like the tan cloth, but I don't see it as an option for the Rubicon?
Today is a no. And the joker at the dealer that looked it up said, "Probably sometime next month". Ummmm...I stand behind what I said earlier...I know more than they do. But that statement makes me cringe.
Hey Cassie @BestopTeam do you know if Bestop will be doing safari tops for the Gladiators like these? https://www.bestop.com/jeep/2008/wrangler/extended-safari-bikini/door/4/
I just want a top I can throw over myself and passengers in case I hit bad weather in the warmer months, so not the mesh...
That mopar top looks similar to the Bestop one I had on my JK. I like the Bestop one because it was made from the same material as the full soft tops. ALSO, as you can see in this picture, when I wasn't using it, I rolled it up and used a couple bungees to hold it in place right behind the top...
