Ordered a Mojave, supposed to ship around 8/31. Dealer believes it will have the cast iron box because they are starting to trickle in already. Also they're calling it a 2021 model year and 2021 isn't included on the TSB. We will find out when I get it.

The point is Jeep could have had better placement of the 2nd battey. When mine dies and I'm out of Warranty, I'll remove it, do the J1-J2 jumper, disconnect the neg 2nd batt term, heat shrink the end, and just eliminate it all together. I don't use ESS anyway.

I've changed batteries in the store parking lot, took the old one in for core. That's not going to happen with this buried battery.

Access to simply replace the second battery without performing open heart surgery. It might actually be easier to replace a pacemaker battery.
