I am at the point where I am surprised y'all didn't revoke Ace's posting privileges after the Old Whiskey picture. I know I am going to have nightmares tonight. Thanks for nothin Ace

In the interest of full transparency, Not Your Father's Root Beer is definitely not for kids

Sorry to revive this old post, but my go to for not beer or whiskey is Not Your Fathers Root Beer. So dangerous. Add a large scoop of vanilla ice cream and pure heaven. Some salty officer gave me orders to read all the posts, so I blame him for the delayed repost.

Frickin gallram snipe hunt!!!! Made it to Sep 27th with no reply... Now to spend the rest of the day wrecked train gazing. (It is fun though)

Not me skipping to page 316 from page 8 to see if OP ever responded. Now I have to keep reading.
  8. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I really like your idea. Did the spray liner add much thickness and make parts tight or not line up with the tailgate, or did you account for that in the setup?
  9. Get creative challenge. Bye bye push to start button.

I was honestly just trying to point out the challenges so you knew where to start looking. You have been given several ideas. I know tone, inflection and intent are almost never portrayed accurately in written form, but it seems that you just want to argue unless someone is all in on your...
  10. Get creative challenge. Bye bye push to start button.

What radio do you have? Do you have a backup camera? Even the most basic model with no frills uses the same computer. I know you don't have electric anything, but you could add it and just have the option turned on with your existing computer. Saves FCA time and money to just mass produce the...
  11. Get creative challenge. Bye bye push to start button.

I applaud your request for solutions and request for guidance/like minded people. I am by no means adverse to coming up with new ways of doing something. I will try and shed a little light as respectfully as I can so you can at least know what areas or types of expertise to look towards. (Keep...
  12. guys with 2.5" and 3.5" lifts

Thanks! I think I now have a solid plan. Hopefully can get the order set in the next couple of days and then start the debt of my mid life adventure. Crisis is such a negative outlook and ruins the fun of journey. I will be sure to do a build post so I can hopefully help the next person like you...
  13. guys with 2.5" and 3.5" lifts

I guess I missed JKS in my research. Now I am leaning towards this plus an adjustable rear trackbar Adulting sure is hard when you are trying to mix looks, performance, fun, stability and affordability. Of course a healthy dose of ignoring responsibility helps making the looks and fun easier...
  14. guys with 2.5" and 3.5" lifts

Thanks for the info. I am still torn on what lift route I am going to go. Once I sort out a good price for the Ram 2500 I am trading/selling, the order for the Gobi Sport S with max tow will be placed. I am torn between rough country with some extra links and track bars or the metal cloak dual rate.
  15. guys with 2.5" and 3.5" lifts

Awesome looking truck! Did you have to add wheel spacers to make sure there was no rub with the stock Rubicon wheels at full articulation? Did you upgrade your front drive shaft?
  16. Rough Country 3.5" lift - Coil VS Spacer

How about the front? Seems like that is the most problematic due to the transmission crossbar and exhaust.
  17. Rough Country 3.5" lift - Coil VS Spacer

any of you that have the 3.5" RC lift go with a new drive shaft? I am seeing a lot of both answers, but figured a user opinion would be good to have. I am days away from making the decision to order, and I am losing sleep from visions of lifts, bumpers and wheel/tire packages swimming in my...
  18. Newbie towing question...

Best tip for backing practice I can give is to go to an empty parking lot. Large as you can find that also has some forgiving obstacles to practice mirror spotting. Then, remember to only do very small corrections at first. It is very easy to over-correct. Especially with a short wheel base...

My parents moved to Lincoln my senior year of HS. Commuted to Sac with Dad so I could graduate from Rio Linda. Still a little bit of redneck in my genes. I hear ya on CA. I am planning to move to greener pasture in Oregon when I retire in 6-11 years (depending on who wins the argument on when I...
