I have the alpine, love it. My wife says it sounds better than her X5...I can't tell cause all I do is jam 70's acid rock so loud it wiggles the windows. Lemmy lives!
I love all the jeep colors but favor the blues. My all time favorite was the bikini pearl on the JLR I traded for the JTM. I'd have done that for the JT if it were available. With brown leather seats...to match all the dirt I track into it. It's a bit of running joke at work, if I show up in a...
Seems more F350/Silverado 3500/Ram 3500 dually or equivalent than anything for all of these requirements. My wife and I just pack a tent, cooler, and couple of sleeping bags. Wranglers and Gladiators do that well.
I love my JTM, can't say anything bad ... not yet. I do miss the tighter turning circle of the JKU and JLU I had, but I knew that when I did the flip. Gladiators are awesome.
It didn't occur to me to consider getting selectrac, I saw a pretty good deal and went for it-so command trac it was. Based on my experience with the JKUS and JLUR I had, the only time I would've really used it is when I'd put off buying tires...only slipped when I had tires on the wear bars...
Lots of technical stuff back there-more than I'm ready for right now. No open fires=no grills, so pack the cooler with sandwiches or a camper stove. It's alot of fun close by-probably just 20 minutes from Acton.
People who've never owned or driven a jeep wrangler or gladiator that think they are not practical or high maintenance ... Just empty Every Pocket. and that troll that kept referring to the 3.6 as a minivan engine. So not the case for me and I'm on my third. Just rolls happily every day. My wife...
I've had a few heavy SUVs, a Volvo XC90 and currently BMW X5 that I ran/run all season tires on. Michelin Pilot Sports-in heavy rains got to watch out-the back end will let go. In my Wranglers (JKU with A/T then JLU with M/T) on had the back end let go when I had let the tires run down to the...
My first post here. I traded my very beloved 2019 Wrangler Rubicon code named Hank for a brand new Mojave code named Elwood. Over 35K miles Hank gave me about 18.5 mpg life time average. Before Hank I has JK codenamed Jake. Jake was about the same as Hank on MPG. First tank on Elwood gave me...
