I see what ur saying... the welded insert is not centered in the precut hole therefore the lil cable thingy is too close to the actual bed to allow the cable to fit behind it as it should.
Appreciate the invite. Will be out of town celebrating wife’s bday. But definitely interested in getting together w/ others for rides. Keep me in mind for upcoming events.
To piggy-pack on other responses... max tow and max payload capacities are individual attributes and may not be accomplished at the same time.... one will diminish the other... “guesstimates sometimes get u into trouble”

For the drive shaft. States joint in center of shaft... not middle... huh? Still curious about actual component.

The Rzeppa joints are in fact a style of constant velocity joints by definition. Should would like a part number. And what is meant by “center” of drive shaft? Half way from end to end or as in the interior center of the shaft. I know it seems like a play on words but there can be a huge...
Are u sure that is the affected component? Recall states it is a “constant velocity joint”. Not trying to insult anyone’s intelligence, just trying to locate exact issue.
