Depends on driving style. I donāt remember what the manual says, but I do it any time Iāve done a water crossing. Sometimes I do it before a long hard trip where I know theyāll be working hard. I alternate between drain and fill without pulling the cover, and pulling the cover to inspect. I...
Very good advice. I swapped my rotors to aftermarket ages ago. The zinc coating is so good I never have any issue anymore. But one or oem similar are terrible.
You can remove the speed sensor without even removing your wheel. Tiny single bolt. M6 I think. It gently pulls out towards the inside of the vehicle. I think m6 Allen. But regarding the rotor, it depends on whether you want to replace them. Heat is great for the rotor retaining bolt. After...
I always make some, so will definitely share them. No pride here. It goes both ways though right? Iām very proud of everything Iāve done on this vehicle without paying someone. But I have no qualms about laughing about jacking something up and telling everyone. So no pride, except the good kind?
I really should do it soon. I towed a bunch last week and could smell coolant when it was working reasonably hard. Had to swap to cabin only recirculating mode.
I havenāt unpacked it yet, but Iām replacing mine with the Mishimoto aluminum one. No idea if it comes with a hose. But glad the transfer pump worked. If it doesnāt come with a hose, Iāll just inspect and replace. If the hose looks terrible, Iāll order one first. Thanks for the links.
Nice work. Having not done this, is there a good way to avoid a bunch of coolant spillage? I was thinking about extracting the fluid out of the reservoir with a hand transfer pump.
Thatās outstanding. So the switch essentially disables a tazer or similar, and puts it back to stock, without removal? Iād love to see that wiring diagram.
