Following. I’ve got coolant smell at high altitudes when it’s working hard. My belief is that I have a super minor leak around the water pump. It’s never lowered the coolant level enough to matter. Meaning I top it off maybe annually.
The joke is that when mine was parked in the driveway for its first 4 years, I never had a dead battery. Cascadia maintained it without fail. Now that I have a garage that it fits in, I have it on a battery tender.
Much nicer and much more durable than office stuff. And can wash with a pressure washer at the car wash. Bottom is thick foam molded to the shape of the bed. Velcro holds it from shifting.
Very good advice. Hand tools only. I’ve been through my body bolts twice now and none are broken. And a friend has done this on 4 jeeps without breakage. His sliders require removal. You only need to loosen them. If they seem like they’re getting stuck, just tighten slightly and stay patient...
Sounds like an awesome list. I’m in the same boat right now. Without ignoring everything else in life, I’m not making as much of a dent as I’d like. But oh well. Every time I work on it I feel more relaxed. Enjoy.
