Looks very much like you could fit a 37" spare under the bed and that gas tank looks like quite a bit extra capacity from the JL. The rear shaft is super long, looks almost like they mated a JL 4door staft with a shorter stub shaft to make up the wheelbase difference.

I agree, it looks like the back panel is one continuous piece that wraps around the rear corners to the retainer at the back of the rear door. You can probably remove that and get the safari-style top with the open rear. I hope this also has the sunrider functionality that opens it up over...
