    I did see that the exhaust manifold sits toward the rear of the engine bay which is naturally where the step controller would sit... definitely a hazard! I harnessed mine between the battery and outside wall of the engine bay so hopefully that will mitigate heat issues. That engine does run...

    It's weird... I saw a video on Jeep Informant (YouTube) where he disconnects the main battery and is still able to start the JT. I was surprised by that.
