I guess I was extremely lucky. We ordered our JTR on 3/31, salesman called me 4/17 that it came in. We picked it up 4/21.

Check the thread on JT monthly pricing sheets in the ordering section. It will list FWP (invoice price) and MSRP for the model and also all options. BTW invoice price is not 10% below MSRP.

I always bought Craftsman tools in the past. Had Craftsman torque wrenches in 3/8" and 1/2" drives for both inch pounds and foot pounds. When I needed a higher rated torque wrench for axle shaft nut at hub bearings I went with the Kobalt 1/2" drive from Lowes. It had good reviews at the time...

The door sill is $769 (retail). It is different than the door seal (rubber seal).

I would be more concerned with actual compressed and extended measurements of the shocks, not what a manufacturer advertises lift height. Compare measurements to what you need. If compressed length is too long, it may bottom out and damage the shock.

Two nights in SD won't let you see very much. We spent a whole week in Deadwood, SD in 2019 when we did the Black Hills Jeep Jamboree. If you're limited for time, skip Mount Rushmore and go to Crazy Horse Memorial instead and be sure to take the bus tour.

I'm also going to the Penn's Woods Jeep Jamboree. It will be my 4th time there. I suggest staying on campus. My wife and I have been going to a Jeep Jamboree every year since 1999. Usually try to go to different locations and make a vacation out of it. Penn's Woods and Gateway to the Cumberlands...

GMRS stands for general mobile radio service. Jeep Jamboree dropped the CB radio requirement and is making GMRS mandatory for their 2021 events. Midland says advantages are increased power, compatibility to FRS radios, repeater capable and low cost.
