I weighed my hitch weight and adjusted load to as near 10% of trailer weight as possible on the hitch and adjusted hitch height to level the trailer. Added load leveling hitch and sway control and never had a problem towing max load.
The garage door opener could have been wired like headlights, radio, and electric windows to be powered up for a short time after the engine is turned off and still maintain the security aspect.
Does the TPMS actually monitor absolute pressure and use some "average" barometric pressure to display gauge pressure on the dash? If it used actual barometric pressure would it not show a change with altitude? Just curious.
