Interest rates are high now on everything unless you can get some kind of buy down or deal when you buy the vehicular. Dodge at 1 point was offering a 0.9% on RAM 1500 as an incentive.

when I say maintenance, I don’t mean oil changes or things like that. I meant replacement of components that are worn or broken. For example, if you paid $3,000 for the extended warranty, I would consider that pre-paying for maintenance of things that wear out or break.

It depends on if you like your dealer service department. The extended warranty is basically pre-paying for maintenance you may or may not need.
I personally would recommend not getting a service contract / warranty and instead taking the Jeep to be serviced at an independent place you like...
I have an RV and I flat tow using a Ready Brut tow bar. Easiest set up for brakes and they have a great system for the lights.
