What makes a special order for a Jeep so hard is the accessibility to the process. I have ordered many vehicles and this is the only manufacture where you can relatively find out where your vehicle is in the build process. I ordered a new Subaru STI and June and it showed up five weeks later...
Nice Jeep. I too, ordered a white 21 Mojave with the 8-speed auto, hardtop, cold weather package, tow package and satin black grill. Ordered on 7/20 and got the vin on the 23rd. I hope it arrives soon!
Be careful with the price. Most people do not qualify for all available discounts. You usually have to be a marine who is now a firefighter and the former college roommate of FCA’s CEO. Be sure to contact the dealer to see what rebates apply to you.
I just talked with my wife about the gorilla glass windshield. When I built my Mojave last Tuesday on Jeep’s site, I thought I clearly missed checking the box to add the option. My wife swears that it was not a listed option on their site early last week. Hmmm......
Enjoy your new truck. It is surely a beast. Credit is due to FCA for having the guts to build a truck like the TRX. I’m actually shocked by the amount of negative comments posted in here. I guess everyone is a critic, especially when what they are criticizing is intangible for themselves. Enjoy...
I ordered my white Mojave with automatic transmission, cold weather package, spray in bedliner, black satin front grill and hard top on July 20th. Got my VON from Gupton on the same day. Got my VIN from Jeep Chat on July 23rd. As some have mentioned here, they would not give me the status but...
That is true. I had a 2018 manual JLR and just recently drove a manual JTR. There are many things I don’t understand about the choices made by FCA when developing this manual transmission. For me it is the gear spacing. A third gear that can go to 103 mph makes no sense. I thought it was really...
Only a few manual transmissions are still offered in the automotive world, especially in suv/trucks and it is a shame FCA botched this transmission. In more ways than one, too.
