I’ve had a Jeep since 2003 when I started driving and had my CJ and have always waved at other Jeeps on the road whenever I can.
What I have never understood is the drama (and elitism) that surrounds the Jeep Wave. If someone doesn’t wave they either A) don’t know about it, B) don’t care, or C)...
More video would be awesome. If you have Instagram and you follow a bunch of off-road racing pages then you can see tons of footage, but since the races are so long not a lot of teams have dedicated film crews for the whole thing. There are always tons of compilation videos made after these...
I had a similar conversation today with a dude at work. What it comes down to is that I have always had a Jeep and *usually* had a truck. I’ve had a 6.7L Ram, an F-150, and a Silverado at one point in time or another. I’ve always gotten rid of the trucks when I feel I didn’t need the truck...
Took the wife and kids out to the Topsail Beach Jeep Week Beach Crawl yesterday in the JT. It was a great turnout, mostly JKs and JLs with some TJ, YJs, and CJs in the mix. There was only one other JT owned by a driver (the fire cracker red one), the rest were owned by a local dealer, then my...
Looks like the backseat form TJ will have a use after all, I was just going to sell it, but this will be cool for camping or drive ins with the wife and kids
I wonder how much they are going to charge us to get one installed at a dealer. It should be free considering what the Max Tow package is advertised as but I know that’s not how the world works

I prefer a hard top for now, my TJ has a soft top that is off most of the time as it’s my trail rig now. As a matter of preference, I think the JT soft tops look dumb as hell when they are folded back - it looks like a big floppy spoiler hanging off over the cab which is ugly to me.
I would...
Been driving mine for a week and haven’t had any issues out of it. Maybe a better way to go about having the system is for the driver to have the option of defaulting it off instead of defaulting it to on.
I doubt there are any plans for a modern car manufacturer to remove the feature...
I’ll be sure to update my stance as I add more miles.
I’ve read through this thread and the other one about the same topic and have yet to see a compelling reason why people loathe it so much. Is it the brief pause after you let off the brake?
I’m with this guy - two days of JT ownership and I don’t see what the fuss about the feature is all about. I’ve never had any kind of vehicle with a feature like it (one that aids in fuel economy) so it’s not like I’m used to it or anything, I just don’t think it matters that much.
