  1. Lightweight Winch & Recovery Gear Setup

Ok so... Best number I have for the factory plastic bumper is 38 lbs (maybe someone who has swapped can verify this?) The Arcus is 71 lbs, the overrider bar is 12 lbs, and Warn M8S is 55 lbs. This would leave a net weight gain of 100lb on the front bumper. If you ditch the overrider bar you...
  2. Lightweight Winch & Recovery Gear Setup

@DanW Yes! That is exactly what I’m after! Everything is trade offs and weight is usually an enemy. The Smitty XRC9500 is only 46lb?!? Well that may be the ticket I’m looking for and the price point seems reasonable. I haven’t seen this low of a number posted before though. Did you weigh...
  3. Lightweight Winch & Recovery Gear Setup

Thanks for the replies! This isn’t going to become an overlanding rig for me so I just want to maintain handling where I can. What are thoughts on the combo of recovery boards and a winch2go?
  4. Lightweight Winch & Recovery Gear Setup

Hey all! So brought home my new '21 Mojave and absolutely love it. Have been using it to explore CO trails and head out to camp sites. When I do hit trails, I generally don't go for obstacles that are hard for the sake of hard, but rather just running somewhat challenging trails that are the...
  5. Livernois Motorsports Tune claims 50HP gains (on E85) for V6 JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator

@DubaiMarauder checked your profile and can't find the review. Can you link it? Thanks!
  6. Pic Request - Rubicon/Mojave back-to-back 33s vs 35s

Thanks for all the help everybody! You all done talked me into it. Just ordered some BFG 35ā€ KO2 and a set of AEV Savegre II. Can’t wait!
  7. Pic Request - Rubicon/Mojave back-to-back 33s vs 35s

Just found this measurement thread. I read a Rubicon height of 73ā€ which may place Mojave at 74ā€ and adding 1ā€ of tire for 35’s no lift leaves me at 75ā€ overall. Does that sound right? Either way that’s mega close and I think I need a bigger garage :)...
  8. Pic Request - Rubicon/Mojave back-to-back 33s vs 35s

Awesome! Would anybody happen to have the overall height measurement from ground to rooftop on the Mojave? I have a city garage and the opening at the door is 77.75ā€ at its shortest. Need to be careful not to go too tall...
  9. Pic Request - Rubicon/Mojave back-to-back 33s vs 35s

This has been super helpful! The side by side Rubi/Mojave definitely puts it in perspective and the difference is much bigger than I thought. Sounds like it’s time to order up some wheels/tires.
  10. Pic Request - Rubicon/Mojave back-to-back 33s vs 35s

PBR that is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thanks! Mine is even the same color
  11. Pic Request - Rubicon/Mojave back-to-back 33s vs 35s

Hey all, So I’m waiting on my New Mojave to show up late this week and, of course, I’ve been aggressively online shopping in advance of its arrival :) Im strongly considering going to 35s, but I see some pics where it looks like a massive difference and others where it doesn’t seem like it’s...
  12. Help me decide to go 35s or not on Mojave!

Well that is encouraging that the 12.5" tire width plays. So sounds like the additional 1" of height at the front and 1" of track might be beneficial. Kinda torn on the rim part since there's nothing wrong with mine....but the AEV rims are soooo cool.
  13. Help me decide to go 35s or not on Mojave!

Hey All, New guy here that is about to take delivery of my brand new ā€˜21 Mojave. She’s in transit now and I’m considering an upgrade to 35ā€ tires while maintaining the factory FOX suspension. What I want to achieve: Meatier looking tires A little bit more ground clearance Keep the cool...
