  1. Jeep reliability - most common issues?

A data based and an anecdote based answer: I've had 3 Jeeps as my only vehiclees since 2000. Two TJ's (2000, 2004) and a JT (2022). If you avoid first model years of new models, and stick to less luxurious models, I believe they're great. Now data: https://www.carcomplaints.com/Jeep/Gladiator/
  2. Good steps / nice concept, pricing way off?

I'd love a solution like this but $1k for 4 steps seems too high. The wife wants the AMP retractable. I'm on the Rough Country Contoured Drop Steps... which I disliked so much I only placed 1 side on for the kids & wife.
  3. Adios!!!

@Jackpaul Hows the width on the Defender? Meaning does it feel bloated? I've liked the new 110 for my needs, but I've only driven Wranglers & Glad so worried about driving a "yacht" that is too wide
  4. Adios!!!

Anyone that wants a Defender, but wants to avoid the parts/reliability - the Lexus GX replacement (GX 550) and Toyota Land cruiser update should be out in the next year.
  5. Finding a Selec-Trac In Stock?

With Selec-Trac, does the JT lurch/awkwardly turn through tight turns? When I have 4H on - the JT makes turning seem like you're breaking the thing....
  6. Thinking of getting a Gladiator. Sport or Mojave?

Anyone here with the Mojave towed a trailer say > 3k lbs? I had noticed in some reviews that the Mojave's soft suspension caused towing issues (eg: walk and reaction to wind). I have a Sport S and feel it's a hair firm to drive.
  7. New gladiators steering

2022 JT Sport S and steering is great.
  8. Quality of life upgrades?

Which wireless carplay dongle? I am using the USB wire - and I swear the connection drops intermittently no matter if plugged in front USB or Console USB
  9. A New EV JT Rubicon In The Family

Those body panels on the EV JT have smaller gaps than a Tesla ;)
  10. Gorilla glass?

Owned a 2022 for 1 year now, and Gorilla windshield has held up well. Granted I'm used to TJ windshields before this which always seemed to gain hairline cracks. (very flat!)
  11. So the wife wants a 2 door...

I had a 2 door that I raised my kids through until about age 10. A TJ (2004). I worried all the time about being rear-ended, and it was an ABSOLUTE pain getting them in and out even in car line. I'm sure if I was rear-ended it would have been trouble. I stuck with it because I loved my TJ - but...
  12. Cheaper option to disable ESS

One review of that product on Amazon suggests the remote start feature is disabled by installing this. Did it do that for you?
  13. First Jeep 2022 Sport S Max Tow

Nice ! I have a Sport S, and you're wise to replace the shocks out of the gate. Which Fox shocks did you go with - I need some?
  14. Let’s hear it for Selec-Speed!

Thank you - did not even know I had duck mode. Snow look out....
  15. A different kind of question about tonneau covers…

Been following - After this thread I'm really into the Bak x4s and the Fas-Top. I had been into the Rugged Ridge Armis rolling, but the Bak x4s looks more well made.
  16. Batteries - let's figure this out.

I'll add something that happened to me with Stop/Start. Mine stopped working for a few months. Then one day I had to drive about an hour out of town. It suddenly started working again ON that trip towards the end. It's worked ever since. I think my Stop/Start issue was due to a low battery...
  17. 2 Door Gladiator 4xe @ SEMA - Quadratec truck

If they had a 4 door version, I'd buy that in a minute ;)
  18. This is BIG. Introducing ELITE SERIES Headlights.

Also, in the SEMA video he mentions upcoming holiday discounts (eg: maybe black friday, etc)
  19. Key fob has left the vehicle

Along with this - has anyone been able to turn off the *annoying* 3 honks when the fob leaves the vehicle while on? I've looked through the menu and disabled what I thought was it - to no success.
  20. Mountain Bikes - How are you guys carrying them??

As a note, for those carrying 1-2 bikes, the Fox Half pad has been great. Rear brake light + full camera visibility. I ditched the Dakine half pad once the Fox half arrived.
