They slip over the rock rail but have an additional bracket on the bottom that also bolts into place. For heavy-duty wheeling, we do recommend removing them, which is part of the reasoning behind making them easy to take on and off.
Yes, you can. The only caveat is if your vehicle ends up needing the spacers. You’ll need one extra pair for the JT. Most people have not needed the spacers so far. If you do need them you can just email us and we will send you an extra pair.
