We've just moved to Middle Tennessee this summer - looking for social groups in the area. Our address is in Lewisburg, but we're just south of Chapel Hill. We drive a 2020 JT and a 2022 JLU and looking to meet up with people who like riding trails and socializing.
We hit the market at the exact RIGHT time: in 2019 we paid about $24K for a 2017 JKU Sport S. In 2021 Vroom offered us $32K for it - we jumped on that offer and used the proceeds to order a 2022 JLU SS!
We recently moved from California to Tennessee - towed my JT behind the motorhome (2007 Bounder on a Workhorse chassis: 8.1L V8 with Allison 6 speed transmission) the entire way. Averaged 8 mpg over the 2400 mile trip. The wife drove her JLU behind me and she averaged 35 mpg with her 3.6L engine...
Don't have a pic handy, but the switch is mounted on the dash, to the right of the glove box opening. I could have mounted it closere to the driver's seat but I was too lazy to run the wires over there! The wiring is connected where CoolTech advises - it's easy to get to, once you remove all the...
We go both ways: on my wife's 2022 JLU we use a Blue Ox base plate, mated to our NSA Ready Brute Elite tow bar; on my 2020 JT we use a Rugged Ridge Spartan bumper with Rock Hard adapters bolted through the bumper to the frame, mated to the same NSA tow bar. Both methods work great, although we...
My stock 2020 Sport S, with 3.73:1 gears, and AS tires, gives me a reliable 22 mpg running on the freeways at 65-70 mph. Driving from the SF Bay Area to San Diego and back on I5 I saw an average of 25 mpg, including climbing the Grapevine and descending the other side, both directions. I...
...and now you've got to placate your HOA by not parking it in your driveway - here's one guy's solution when he was told his boat could not be visible from the street:
Our JT doesn't use ANY battery power when hooked to the motorhome - the NSA Ready Brute tow bar system is completely mechanical, and I've got the lights set up so they're powered by the motorhome and not the Jeep when being towed - basically a home-made version of the CoolTech harness.

What I did was to pull the carpet down a bit, then, extrapolating a line from the point where the brake pedal meets the brake arm, drill the hole. That should put the hole about an inch or so below the top edge of the carpet, missing the plastic piece. The drill bit should go through the foil...
That's what I'm looking for - someone who can do the conversion. I don't want to buy a software package and go through the learning curve to become proficient with it, for a one-time use - I'd rather pay someone a reasonable fee for their expertise!
I've got a couple of low resolution images that I would like to enlarge to make decals for my front doors and my tailgate. The images are jpg but when I enlarge them they lose a lot of detail so I'm looking for someone who is a whiz at manipulating images who can convert my low-res jpg images...
Here's another option for you: install a 12V battery on the trailer to power the winch - then all you'd need for wiring is what a typical travel trailer uses for a 12V feed from the tow vehicle to recharge that battery...
