installed throttle body spacer, mbrp 2.5 cat-back, fumoto quick change valve. All while socially distancing (hard on an old man to wrestle that heavy stock exhaust). Sounds great!
Changed my oil (Amsoil 0/40) @ 967 Covidvirus miles while installing throttle body spacer and MBRP 2.5 Cat-Back (itās more complicated than the youtube video...get out the sawsall!). Noticed the drain plug was not magnetic, so I stacked some magnets close to the fumoto plug I also installed. A...
Sounds GREAT! Bad news is it sounds so fantastic when your foot is on the floor...is that my foot has been lead lined as of late. Feels quicker off the line also. Installation was simple, though the Banks booklet was hard to follow due to dark photos (line drawings would have been clearer)...
Just bought my Gladiator...very similar controls than on my Ram Ecodiesel. One thing I miss, on the Ram you could scroll through engine management display to show coolant, tranny, and oil temps on the engine management screen. Gladiator you can only see one value at a time. When towing I...
according to their testing 30 hp, 25 more torque. Iāll be pulling my beetle in for valve adjustment on Tuesday, Iāll see if there are any gains mpg etc. then.
I flew jets for years...youāll have to tell me how it sounds! In reality just adds a low rumble but it does run faster. Mine is over a second faster to 60, not the reason I installed it...I needed more torque.
...no...FCA has NOT āstepped upā...mine had the egr recall, took it in...no parts...no estimate on when new parts will be available. The egr problem only causes spontaneous combustion of your vehicle; one memberās ecodiesel went up in flames after two days of inactivity.
My ātradeā for my Gladiator was a Ram Ecodiesel...I wouldnāt have this piece of junk mounted in ANY vehicle. Go to the ecodiesel forum to glean the number of engine failures, fires, and recalls. Reminds me of an ad for an italian rifle...never fired, dropped once.
Iām going do do first change @ 1000 because several youtube videos have shown an alarming amount of metal imbedded in the oil filter. Also, donāt know if I like any oil beginning with ā0ā. Might get a zinc additive...
Start calling roadside assistance early and often! Iāve only owned my Gladiator for one day, but my previous ride was an EcoDiesel that was letās just say was the worst vehicle Iāve ever owned. Ram roadside assistance was always able to expedite repairs and scare the beejesus out of a...
Since my retirement, Iāve been driving ādealer tradesā for three years, so I get to drive just about every vehicle from tiny cars to F550 chassis. Driven many, many Tacos...not impressed with the power vs horrific mpg Iāve seen on drives of up to 1000 miles. Gladiator may not have much more...
Bought mine after researching through this forum and USAA and AAFCU. Best truck purchase in my life. Huffhines Ram/Jeep in Lewisville, TX (my fifth buy there...first Jeep). Great salesman, no pressure, the USAA purchasing site was awesome...able to get most everything I wanted at a reasonable...
