I got my 25 Base Sport Max Tow otd for 43.5, tax, title, license included. Thats from Koon's in Virginia at 8.3% below invoice.
I know it stinks, but the additions and modifications you've made are probably a wash, if not a direct detractor for many buyers. Especially to those buyers not...
I'm 5'6" and ride with the seat jacked 5x. The same thing happened on my old jk. I just got used to lowering all the way and jacking up whenever I got in 🤷♂️
That frame and seat combo has to be worth a couple hundred pounds... And you're still under 1760lbs with 8 passengers? And a driver? Plus recovery gear??? Are you traveling the Mines of Moria with halflings????
I'm just trolling. Looks like a cool setup and operation you have. I'm no expert but...
Sorry for your situation, but glad that things worked out in the end. I would recommend looking at Dan Grec's videos on YouTube from The Road Chose Me. He has a video in one of his series about a kill switch. You can find his email on his page, and he's a real gent, gets back to people fairly...
Does your wife have a Rubicon/Sahara by chance? The grilles for those are different than the sport/willys. They're a 3 piece grille with extra space for the gunmetal/silver trim for the headlights and 7 slots.
I always felt like that was probably what they said to justify the face-lift. A face-lift that I think was a step backwards in terms of design. But to each their own.
I've wondered this as well. Could it be a fuel economy trade off? Considering the honeycombs are larger but not the seven slots themselves, I'd imagine it was an engineering solution for cooling without having to sacrifice the classic jeep look as well.
Edited from original post:
Looking for the heavy duty rock sliders with step assist or skateboard steps (molded plastic with the dips for feet) as I don't prefer the look of the tubular side steps. The Sliders are a mopar performance add on I believe, and I'm pretty sure the steps were only...
I have a base Sport Max Tow and have been loving it. Granted, I've only had it a week, but we're planning on pulling an Airstream to Lake George this summer and the towing capacity/payload are perfect for our needs. It also rides like a jeep, but I had a 2dr JK before this so I knew what to...
I had KO2s on my jk and loved them for snow and dry dirt and rocky trails. My experience with other tires is limited. I tend to avoid mud though too, so to each their own when it comes to tire preference/offroad preference.
They are super quiet on the highway compared to the KMs that were...
Not necessarily. The manual trans has known faults, but their thinking is likely that people buying a manual are purely looking for engagement while offroading. I doubt they envision people towing a lot or running huge tires (like >37") with the base manual. Still they should have had a beefier...
