My son bought a renegade last year and 3 months later it was completely destroyed by two massive hail storms. He's based out of Ft. Carson in Colorado springs (although deployed to the sand box now). It was a blessing in disguise, he felt it was great 3-month trial because he replaced it with...

Xprite Metal Front Foot Pegs with U.S. Flag for 2018-2019 Jeep Wrangler JL https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P6NY2XN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vpPyDbYR2RFWG
Just a couple of little things, going to go explore the George Washington national Forest today so took the doors off and put on auxiliary mirrors and my American flag foot pegs.
* I'm not expecting a whole heck of a lot of the mirrors, but in the state of Virginia I have to have at least the...
That's great news! I ordered mine yesterday and although it would be great if I got it in time for next weekend, I don't think it's going to come in that quick.
And here are two pics of it, the first one was with the two and a half inch lift and 35s with wheels I didn't care for and then I had them change it out to the three and a half inch lift with 37's and wheels I preferred...
I'm embarrassed to admit this but I actually don't know for sure the manufacturer. I did validate though that it was approved by Jeep to not negate my warranties (which apparently it had just been recently approved). I've shot the question off to my shop to get the answer for both of us but I...
Eeks, and I thought mine was expensive.
If I were you, I'd do some side by side comparisons with other similar covers to denote the functional and aesthetic differences and then the price difference. You may very well find that the few differences don't justify many hundreds of dollars cost...
Thank you, and beautiful Shepard by the way...
Wheels: 20x12 Asanti Offroad AB807-20125044NBM (CJ Pony Parts has them for $400 each)
Tires: Nitto Ridge Grappler 37X12.50R20 (about $425 each)
We can all do the math but I prefer to remain in denial!
Funny story, I wasn't planning on looking at Jeeps until next year but due to the only parking garage that I can fit my F-250 in the city for work closing down and the open lots available being exceptionally dangerous in DC at 5 a.m. when I'm walking in the dark, moved the time line up...
Coming back from Tennessee to Virginia on i-81, I put my soft top back but left the panels and window in. Part of that time I had all the windows down whereas some of the time the windows were up. Figure a good 300 miles plus maintaining over 70 miles per hour speeds and I had no issues.
Dang! Your commute is practically identical to mine! I leave around 4:30 in the morning to drive into DC and then leave the office at 2 p.m. to sit and all that crap.
I'm actually pretty impressed with what I'm getting right now. Not going into anywhere near the detail as the OP, I'm running 37's with cold psi about 38. My daily commute is 80 miles round-trip with a mixture of high-speed highway and hard stop and go gridlock along with some aggressive city...
I have no idea why your post tickles me so much but I'm one of those truck people of which you speak, LOL.
I've always said that's the only vehicle I would ever drive in place of a truck would be a Wrangler as I've always had an affection for them yet I could never let go of my trucks. Lo and...
