  3. Connecticut Sold: Firestone destination MT2's 255/75r17 LRC

These tires are coming off of a set of Willys take offs. I am upsizing and the firestones will be pulled this weekend (10/30ish). I believed them to be new when I bought the jeep and ive put about 800 miles on them. They still appear new, perfect shape, no odd wear. Date code early 2022...

secured a set of KO2's. Theyll be going on this weekend, making the Firestones available.
  5. Record for earliest or first CEL

I recently test drove a 2022 Overland with less than 20 miles on it. It had a CEL but drove just fine. The salesman said "Oh it probably just needs a battery charge". I didnt go through with the deal, but my 2020 JTR with 25k on it has been flawless!
  6. Possible theft from my engine

There are hood lock kits on the market if you decide you want some security.
  7. Possible theft from my engine

Thats solid core wiring for home wiring and the like. Someone could have been using it as a jumper for some reason. Not sure what someone would be trying to do in the engine bay.
  8. My ass is killing me after a 4-hour drive

I am 5' 10" and feel like i need the slammers. My first thought when I got my JTR was that the front of the seat could use a small lift to make me more comfortable, but I am at the bottom of the seat height adjustment, and STILL feel like the seat is just overall too high. Seems like this...
  9. Mopar Buy 3 Tires Get get 4th for $1.00

Bringing this back up for more opinions. Been looking for 315/70's for my JTR, and this "buy 3 get the fourth for $1" appears to be the best deal out there right now. I'm surprised there isn't other threads on it (or maybe i missed them). I am specifically KO2 shopping, and while their...
  10. Anyone quiet down the Mopar dual exhaust?

For what its worth, I pulled the mopar exhaust and installed the Dynomax kit with little issue. It took about two hours start to finish. I did prebuy a new clamp for where it attaches to the cat section. I am glad I did because I had to cut off the already reused stocker. Other than that, it...
  11. Connecticut Sold: WTB/WTT: Firestone MT2's 255/75r17 for KO2's/AT's

My new-to-me Rubicon came with Willys wheels/tires. Fortunately, I like the wheel design. Unfortunately, the tires are smaller than what would even come stock on the truck. I am keeping an eye out for KO2's to go on sale, but in the meantime, reaching out to the crowd here to see if someone...
  12. Connecticut WTB: Gladiator stock exhaust

no longer looking, purchased a quiet crawler. Mopar will be for sale soon.
  13. Anyone quiet down the Mopar dual exhaust?

Just wanted to update the crowd here. I ended up finding a killer deal on a Dynomax Quiet Crawler. Their 39541 kit is significantly cheaper on RockAuto than anywhere else i could find. I can thank a random exhaust review video on youtube for the idea to look there. I paid 443 with tax and...
  14. Connecticut WTB/WTT: Stock exhaust or Dynomax Quiet Crawler

closing this thread, purchased a Dynomax Quiet Crawler brand new (check Rockauto for a savings of around 100 bucks over other outlets). Mopar will be for sale in the next couple weeks.
  15. Connecticut WTB/WTT: Stock exhaust or Dynomax Quiet Crawler

looks and sounds super! Thanks for the vid. Mind me asking where you got it and how much it was? AFE's website has them on sale (cheapest price around) for about the same cost as the dynomax unit. They are both made from the same grade of stainless, just ones 2.5" and the other is 3".
  16. Connecticut WTB/WTT: Stock exhaust or Dynomax Quiet Crawler

Out of curiosity, hows it sound? Im leaning towards installing a Dynomax quiet crawler and reselling the mopar.
  17. Anyone quiet down the Mopar dual exhaust?

Thanks all for the input. I realize whats on there has value, so cash on the tradee's end would be encouraged if were talking a OE exhaust. That said, I think the tips on this thing create a "trumpet" of sorts. Each side has a 2.25" pipe wrapping around the spare with a basic slip joint. I...
  18. Connecticut Sold: WTB/WTT: Stock exhaust or Dynomax Quiet Crawler

My JTR came with the mopar performance exhaust. Its a little loud for my taste, so id like to source a stock exhaust, or maybe a dynomax quiet crawler. Trading in one shot might be a little painful since the at least the factory exhaust requires cutting into two pieces to remove without a...
  19. Anyone quiet down the Mopar dual exhaust?

Yea, i was initially thinking a trade would be best, but I dont really have the capacity/time to support having two trucks apart in my yard at the same time haha. I figure if I can locate a stock exhaust, I can get it on there in my own time and then sell off the mopar exhaust in a leisurely...
